An atlas of Dgyellorenne (to the closest English spelling. The 'Dgy' is like swallowing. It's not "duh-gyel-or-enne" more like "dngyell-or-ENNE")
Req and her friends come from the continent in the Northeast, just east of that mountain range, there, in the desert basin, north of that long, skinny gulf. Basically, it's where southwestern Russia would be on a map of Earth.
Relatively shallow oceans on this planet, and generally a hotter planet than Earth given an atmospheric composition with higher concentrations of water vapor and carbon dioxide than Earth has, causing abundant plant growth in the shallow waters, which make the water seem green. The oceans are also less saline on this planet.

The accent is somewhat like speaking Castillian Spanish in that you soften certain consonants (D, for example) and R's are rolled, but K sounds are made in the throat, like in Hebrew.
That bitty little bright red country in Derachanna is where Req and her friends are from.

I cheated a bit on the water. I went and found a picture of a lake and applied a gradient over it at semi-opacity, decreased saturation, etc. etc.
Oh, and, the Dgyellorennians aren't all purple and green. Req, for example, is more of a pale blue and silver. It's like melanin and whatnot, depends on where you're from and how much sun exposure you get, and your genes.
