Have you even heard their old music?
Okay, I only listened to it once. I'll give it another try.
I'm not gunna lie, I liked some of the occasional guitar rifts.
The song didn't really fit together for me. I didn't really feel anything from Kyo's voice (pointless wailing anyone?) or the lyrics, for that matter. And what the flying ******** was up with the wounded pick squeel at 2:59?
Anyway, all this is coming from a very opinionated, long-time fan. I guess I'm bitter because I really really really miss their old stuff. ((Macabre and Gauze being a few of my favorite CD's))...Bleh ._.;
Dir en grey disappoints me yet again.

Even Vulgar when it first came out was a strech for me, even still only a few songs on that album are ones I really like, same for Withering to Death.....But their new stuff is just...bleh. I miss the Dir en grey I used to love crying ...Their music was much less generic back then ._.;...Okay, not generic but more original...

i miss alot of their old stuff too, like i REALLLLLLLLLY want them to play Aint Afraid to Die and Yurameki live again..
but they are older, more mature and they want to go for the darker sound. Kyo probably doesnt want to dance around to Yokan-esque type music anymore. and there was an interview explaining WTD and MOAB and how he acts on stage and all that. it completly changed my perspective, because i DID NOT like Marrow of a Bone when it came out. Fatal Believer and the Pledge were amazing, but i hated Grief, i hated Repition of Hatred, and the rerecordings of Ryojoku no Ame and Clever Sleazoid, but now i just have fun with them. i like them.
I do feel nostalgic at times, and i am a long time fan, but i think, with the exception of Agitated Screams that was just wtf their new stuff is promising. I LOVE DOZING GREEN LIKE YOU COULDNT BELIEVE. biggrin

Don't get me wrong, it's not my nostalgia that's holding me back...I just don't like they're new stuff...Maybe I just need to listen to it again and give it a chance.

HAY GUIZ.
I still hate it.
I like the part between like...48 to 50 seconds in. Like, it's such a strong, dark "chord" for lack of a better word. I just thing they could have integrated it, and brought it to the forefront more.

I don't know why...In the 'screaming' parts...It sounds like he's really straining his voice, and not in the cool way :/.

Keloid- Should it take you a while to like it? I mean, it's kind of like...Forcing yourself to like it, just because it's Dir en grey. No offense. I think the songs that you immedietly fall in love with are the ones that stick in your heart..Anyway, that's my two cents.

I'm glad SOMEBODY finally agrees with me that this song is a load of s**t xD. The only thing that makes me feel better and worse at the same time is that I know they can do better, does that make any sense? It feels like they're shortchanging themselves.
Kyo used to be good : /. But now he's just...Exactly, overhyped (no offense, old Fuzzy xp). I mean, Kyo's singing used to send shivers down my back. Don't get me wrong, it still sends shivers down my back, but for all the wrong reasons : /.
@Mew.......-silence-. You can't tell me Dozing Green is better than Ayatori, Ame no Orchestra, or LIBRA.
I just can't get over what a big pile of massive steaming s**t Dozing Green is.
