Since everyone else is too lazy, and I’m a BIG Timeranger fan, I started fansubbing my own collection of Timeranger episodes. I subbed them using Windows Movie Maker (I know some of you think Windows Movie Maker sucks, but I don’t see any of you trying to translate this series).

I translated these episodes by using episode descriptions from Super Sentai fansites. I also used what Japanese I do understand, and some parts I just took my best guess at translating. Please also keep in mind that sometimes Japanese doesn’t translate well into English.

I want to make it clear upfront, that I don’t believe that these translations are 100% accurate, but at least you‘ll know what‘s going on in the episode/s, and that‘s what‘s important. If any of you that are “fluent” in Japanese think I mistranslated something, then please PM me so that I may fix the problem.

On a scale of 1-10, I’d rate the picture quality of these episodes between 7 and 8. Each episode is about 170 Megabytes.

I also have TV-Nihon’s copies of Timeranger episodes 1 & 2, and the movie Timeranger vs. GoGoV, up for download. (I like to keep them around, just so everyone knows that TV-Nihon’s behind me in subbing this series, biggrin )

Also, I do all the subbing on these episodes by myself. And it’s a lot of work for one person. And it’s easy to miss little things. So if any of you notice a typo, grammar error, etc. please notify me, so I can fix it.

Anyway, to all Timeranger & Time Force fans, enjoy!

Update: 3-22-07

Here it is. Timeranger episode 51 (the Timeranger Special). The last episode of this series. And might I add, the most difficult episode to translate. Sorry this one took me so long, but to be fair, I had to summarize the first 25 Super Sentai series into one episode (Wikipedia was a big help).

There’s a different opening and closing credits to this episode. I was able to translate the opening theme (which is the other half of the regular Timeranger opening theme), but I couldn’t translate the closing song (“ Don’t Stop Your Story ”). But if any of you have an English translation of the closing song, please PM it to me.

I plan on subbing another Sentai series. But before I do that, I’m going to get a new subbing software, and episodes with better video quality. So I have no idea when I will be posting episodes of my next Sentai project.

One more thing, I would appreciate it if you guys would vote on the new poll I’ve added at the top of this thread. The poll is a question, and it is simple. “What Sentai series would you like to see subbed next?” I’m not saying that I’m going to sub whichever series gets the most votes, I would just like to know the popularity of these series among my audience before I start my next project.

Enjoy the episodes.
