Both to an extent. If the mother's WAY too young or has some sort of health issue where if she continued with pregnancy/birthed this baby, either her life would be ruined medically, or she'd die. But if she's old enough to give birth successfully and doesn't have serious medical issues involving it, I don't think she should be able to get an abortion.
Only if it's gonna threaten the baby and the mom if she carried it out. Why kill two people when you coulda killed one? Besides, if I was born with an intense disability, and doctors knew it from the start, I woulda wished I was aborted.
But if it's just an "uh-oh, we're not married" type of thing, I say it should be illegal for them because it totally coulda been avoided. And slut numbers would be fewer, along with whore numbers, as well, if they didn't have that to fall back on.

Exactly! But if you put yer kid up for adoption, please make sure you stay in contact with the child, and be with it as it grows up and visit it frequently, and let it know you love it, and give it birthday and christmas gifts and stuff, just to make sure we don't spew another emo kid out there. Not good for the kid's psyche or the kids around it.

But also think about how they really can't get a job, so they're supported by the government, and the government gets its moneys from taxpayers, so it's all being paid for by the rest of the people, and if people weren't born with disabilities, taxmoneys would be used to pay for other stuff and Granholm will stop freakin out about loss of revenue and would stop issuing higher taxes and stop recieving less revenue and Michigan's economy won't suck horribly anymore.

I was actually saying that they shouldn't abort perfectly healthy children just because of a relationship issue. It's the parents' faults. Did you know there are just as many cases of women dieing in birth as their are women dieing in abortions. So really, your life could be threatened having a baby at the same time aborting it. They're human, have just as much rights as we do such as"life, liberty, and justice" written in the Constitution to all men and women. But because they look different all of a sudden those rights are taken away? I don't care if our government has to support them, I care about the fact their is a being out there who is getting their rights to life taken away from them just because of their look, features, and abilities.

Yey! Though what about if the problem is next to insolvable, and the operation nececary for potentially somewhat curing the child is risky and severely expensive, the chance at survival is slim, yet they go through it and do it anyway, and not only do they have to see the baby, go through the pains of giving birth to it, getting attatched to it, and then lose it, they're now left with a HUUUUUUGE surgical fine that their insurance may not even pay for, and they'd have to come up with the money out of their own pocket and not even have the child?

Bev... that case would be listed under extraordinary or exotic. Do you know how often that happens? And there is no medical case out there in which an abortion is needed.

Bev... that case would be listed under extraordinary or exotic. Do you know how often that happens? And there is no medical case out there in which an abortion is needed.
I know. But if that was the case, I'd say abortion would be OKAY if the parents weren't willing to go through all the operations, then it would be an option ONLY in that sort of case. AN OPTION. OPTIONAL. PURELY. Mostly, I'm saying I'm pretty much against it. Though one of my friends had one and I don't know what to make of that.
