I like the tea party on the roof and the song the creepy bank guy sings when they want the boy to give them his money. I saw the movie for the first time in a long time on the plane ride over to Japan. I was a little suprised they were showing it cause it's kind of random. It was a good suprise though!

Ah, I love this movie! Hooray for Julie Andrews and d**k Van Dyke! Bert is my favorite character, and my favorite scene is "Steppin' Time", with all the chimney sweeps dancing on the rooftop and through the house! I also really like the scenes in the chalk painting. That fox is great!
"Faith an' begouragh! It's them red coats again! Oh, saints, preserve us!"

Heehee...guys, have you ever watched the credits of this one all the way to the end? You never guess who actually plays the part of the creepy old banker guy.

Mary Poppins is AWESOME! I heart this movie forever!! The music is great no doubt. The sidewalk painting part is always sweet. I also like the chimmney sweep dance toward the end. And "Feed The Birds" or whatever it's called is an awesome song. biggrin

I love d**k Van Dyke! Aside from his role as Bert in Mary Poppins, I loved The d**k Van Dyke Show. He's one of my favorite comedians/actors! blaugh

I've heard about that show, but sadly enough they've never played it here. Still, he was my favorite character in that movie.

has anyone seen the play in London? my mum took me to c it and it was quite disappointing unfortunately. cry They changed most of the songs and for the song "It's a jolly holiday with Mary" instead of al the farm animals and stuff singing they got statues that came to life and it was really weird redface confused they cut out "I love to laugh" the whole scene, (I was really looking forward to see how they wud have done that on stage) so it will neva b as gd as the Disney story. The sets and costumes were gd tho smile
