Characters: Marendithas Hawklight and Alexander Zash Wyrms: Xyane and Anemone Quote: Stuck On You
*Note, this quest must be undertaken by two roleplayers together and done in RP format in order to be completed.*
**Note, this is a universal quest (available to all)**
"And until you learn to work together, stuck together, you'll be! Now, get off my daisies before I turn /you/ into a daisy! Or better yet, a pair of pansies. That'll teach you!"
All right, so crossing that nasty old lady wasn't the best idea you've ever had. You'd been minding your own business and walking down the road when another of your own kind had startled you. Somehow, nasty comments turned to blows until the two of you were fighting like.... well, cat and dog, is probably the most accurate term. Somewhere in the middle of the fight, an old lady had turned up, and it turns out that the old lady was a mage. She'd gotten so sick of you bickering and trampling her patch of flowers that she'd set cuffs on the two of you, effectively cuffing one of your limbs to one of your opponents, and on a very short chain.
After a long lecture about the merits of getting along, the old lady told the two of you to beat it. One problem: you're still cuffed together. The snarky old mage informed the two of you that you're not getting apart until you learn to get along, and then she vanished, leaving the two of you outside beneath a gathering storm. To make things worse, you've heard that there's a rogue wyrm in the area, one with a very nasty attitude and a taste for blood. You're supposed to deal with storm and wyrm.... while cuffed to an idiot.
How the hell are you going to manage this?

With a fairly disgruntled sigh, Hawk muttered to himself while staring down at the cuff that linked him to this jerk standing next to him. And apparently the only way he was going to get away from the guy is if they can somehow manage to cooperate. Worse yet, a great deal of trouble was headed their way, and as far as he was concerned, his own wyrm was no where near this town right now.
Shaking his head lightly, he took in a deep breath and turned towards the one he was chained to. The halfelf didn't like this so much but they needed to try and do something.
"Come on, let's find some shelter... there's no point in waiting around here."

Alexander's eye twitched and glowed a dark black. He was pissed. More then pissed, he was infuriated. First his son leas him to go off somewhere, and his... husband was on the verge of passing away, and now he's stuck to this.. this.. elf!! Today, was -not- his day. Where was Anemone!? He needed to vent out his anger to someone.
Grunting, he glanced at Hawk. He didn't like the halfelf. Even if there wyrms new each other, and were friends, he disliked the other bonded because of what happened in the begging...
-Flash back... to this morning-
Alexander was on his way back home, but his wings were tired so he ended up walking instead of flying. This wasn't a problem with him, he was use to walking long ways for a while now. So as usual he kept his look to the ground and avoided confrontation with people he didn't know.
He walked a different way then usual though, since the side walk was closed off, there was no sign in why though. Eh oh well, as long as he gets home it doesn't matter which way he goes.. until he ended up banging into someone. "Hey watch your step!" he spouted out angrily, wings ruffling behind him.

-continuing flashback-
Things had started off normally for Hawk that day who had just been passing through the town to pick up a couple supplies and such with what little money he had left. He didn't need a whole lot anyway, as he could get a number of things from the wilderness.
So while he headed towards the nearest town gate and turned the corner, he felt someone walk right into him, nearly knocking the half elf over from the collision.
"Oomph! You know it'd be nice if you did the same..."
Muttering a bit, Marendithas repositioned the bow and quiver he had slung around his shoulder before frowning at the one who had walked into him. Vaguely he recognized the guy to be Anemone's bonded, but that didn't make too much of a difference.
"Oh it's you..."

-continuing flashback-
Crossing his arms, Alexander glared at Hawk and said bitterly "Nice to see you too." His black hair ruffled from the wind as he waited for Hawk to move out of the way. He sure wasn't going to move, since it was clearly the other's fault they bumped into each other.
"Well? Aren't you going to move?" He stared at him with dull black eyes, tapping his feet and ruffling his wings. The sidewalk was a small one, and he couldn't move over to the street because of the many carriages and..or cars moving by, and he didn't feel like moving to the other side to let Hawk through. " I haven't got all day."

Frowning further now, Hawk straightened up before shaking his head at Alexander. It was the other that had walked right into him, and he didn't even apologize for it! Last time he met him, he seemed to come across as a jerk too. And now really didn't help shoot down that feeling.
"Why? You have wings.. couldn't you just fly? Besides, it's not my fault that you walked into me."
Crossing his arms, he remained where he was while waiting for the other to move. All the while a little old lady was slowly making her way down the sidewalk towards the two men.

His glare hardened at Hawk. First he bumps into Alex, and then blames it on him? Oh now he was really angry. His left eye twitched, as did his wing, which happens to be smaller the the right wing.
" I may have wings but I cannot use them as much as I would like. Besides, it was -you- who had bumped into -me-."
His eye twitched again as the old lady seemed to get closer to the two, with a bit of an angry look on her face. She didn't seem to happy that the two were blocking her way.

Scoffing a bit, Hawk shook his head slowly again while letting out a sigh. This guy was starting to get a little more on his nerves as time went on. And now noticing the old lady coming from behind, he shook his head and hoped she would ask Alex to move out of the way first.
"No.. I'm pretty sure you were the one that walked right into me. Not the other way around."

The old lady was starting to look angry. She just stood there behind the two, like she was judging them. Alexander took no notice in this instead his eye twitched again. "Something must be wrong with the small brain of yours. It was clearly you who walked into me."
She became angry and angry... at each statement being made by the two bickering men, until finally she yelled out. " You two young men should not be fighting like two bickering babies and stop blocking the path!"
Alexander just stared at the lady frowning. "It's none of your buisness, and just walk on the other side, you're small enough."
The lady's face turned red. "Why how -dare- you."

Grumbling lowly, Hawk shook his head before glancing down at the little old lady and sighing. Maybe now he could get Alex to stand aside, and if not then maybe he should just kinda force his way through.
"You jerk, let her through already. You're the one that walked into me and who's blocking up the stupid sidewalk right now. Now if you don't mind I'm gonna keep on going..."
With that said, the half elf attempted to walk past the other bonded on the cramped sidewalk.

He stood his place and jerked Hawk aside. "If you hadn't bumped into me, then we wouldn't be blocking the sidewalk would we?"He glared and while he was yelling at Hawk more, his wings twitching
"If you two can't get a long.. Then just stick together!" The old lady who grew red in the face, look really angered, and because Alexander's wings were hitting her, it didn't make anything better. So she decided to cast a spell on the two while they were fighting, moving up to Alex and push him into Hawk.
"Hey wh-what!?" He jerked away from the Half-elf but something was wrong.. his wrist would move away from the others.

"What the?!"
Nearly falling over from trying to walk around Alex, then being shoved into him, Hawk frowned and quickly tried to get away from the other but found that there was a slight problem. Quickly looking down to see what the problem was, he saw that he was now cuffed to Alexander, which was one of the last things he wanted at the moment.
Turning towards the little old lady, the half elf gritted his teeth and asked her what was going on, just as the distant roll of thunder could be heard.
"What did you just do?"
