Um...so you name the setting, and an idea for the plot. Then we can go from there.

oh gee, thanks...well here goes:
Lena was practicing her staff in the White Wolf Tavern's courtyard. It was midday, a hundred-something degrees, and she loved it. She wore a simple, comfortable-fitting forest green tunic, with a deeper green shade leggings. Leather boots shod her feet. She wore no jewelry, unless you count an embroidered headband that was keeping her short brown hair out of her face. Her brown eyes were quick to block and attach the dummies as they came at her.

Kirby yawned and sat up pulling his legs out of bed wiping his eyes. "Ahhh finally a nice rest..." He looked out his small window out to the mid-days sun and notices people walking and a young lady practicing with her staff. "Hmm looks like a good idea..." He then got dressed and walked out of his room and down the stairs. He then shuffled to the courtyard with a long barrel of hay and his katana he had grabbed on the way out of his bedroom."Hi!" he said as he nodded to the young lady and split the hay into 6 tall stalks."Practicing i'm guessing?"

"Of course." SHe said without pausing. "How else am I going to become the best?" She went on whacking and hitting the dummies. Eventually, she got tired, and ducked out of the swinging dummies. Gasping for breath (she had worked hard) She went to the water trough and splashed her face to cool down.

After Kirby cut his dummies into fine pieces he walked to the tavern to get a bite to eat. "whataya want?" said the chef in a low raspy voice. "i'll take a ham and cheese omlette and a cup of green tea" he replied. "kay..." and the chef shuffled off to make his order. Kirby sat and streched as he waited.

Lena came in next and sat down two seats from the stranger. When asked what she wanted, she simply replied, "Cheese meatbun, with hawthorn juice and lavendar leaves. Just as always, Shaiten." She got a book stashed behind the counter and started reading.

She shrugged. "For a time. It depends on how long I can afford to live here. I'm a Healer, you see. A traveling one."

"Okay well..." She pulls out a small knife and proceeds to cut her palm. Blod comes forth. Using her own majik so that she won't auto-heal, she tells him, "Heal this."
