Here's your chance to put up a picture of your very own satanic altar for others to see. Here, we'll compare and discuss how each altar was constructed and why. Critiques and suggestions are welcome. But, please remember to practice common courtesy for others.
Here is a sample of what a traditional Satanic altar would look like:

I just moved, so mine would be terribly makeshift if I decided to construct one again. Give me a few months, and I'll have a kickass altar to show off.

Honestly, the only reason I personally would have an altar is because it'd be aesthetically pleasing, and currently I don't have the space or the budget for one that would be pretty enough to serve that purpose.
I'm not so big on rituals.

......I was thinking of something completely different at that time I posted that.....sorry. Ive just been really tired and out of sorts lately....I wasnt thinking right. Yeah, I know what it is, Ill have to construct one just as an experiment to see how it comes out. I dont do rituals, but just making one for the hell of it would be cool.

Just for everyone's information: A satanic altar (not alter -_-) is constructed in order establish a foundation for one's practice and ritualistic endeavors. It is not made to look like a pretty little "darkly" thing in a corner, but to serve as a respectful parameter according to your ways of ritual and, of course, symbolical pleasing. Please do not mistake a cute little black desk with scawy skulls and scawy candles and glowing lamps for a TRUE satanic altar. It's quite unpleasing to see members mistake something so private as something cute, scary, and "dark". That is merely the personal preference factor. Thank you.

Just don't get upset with other people just because they don't think much of it or don't know right off the top of their head what it really is. There are all sorts of different types of satanists here with all different beliefs and values. Some of us aren't even satanists but people who just wish to learn about satanism. I myself am a theistic satanist but I don't do anything with rituals of any kind.

If you have a doubt on anything that has to do with Satanism, ask. Don't just blurt out things you think that, in this case having to do with a satanic altar, are supposed to look cool and, on top of that, misspell "altar". Lol. Besides, I see a post up there that has you replying that you'll "draw one up and spruce it up in photoshop"? I mean, really now. You've got to admit that that seems a bit off track. But it's alright. Rather than assuming, don't be afraid to ask. It's what we're here for.

The reason I said "draw one up" in aan earlier post was becuase I wasnt thinking right that night due to being very tired. But, I often do draw thigns up before I build them so I have an idea of what I am doing and what I want it to look like.

I've constructed something to symbolize a certain figure of my past, more for personal gratification than ritual magic(as of yet). I don't know if that's what the topic is about but would enjoy knowing.

I have I call an alter on the go. It's compleatly portable and when set up, I think is pretty bitchin. The case hold all my candles, insence, books, exc.
I don't know if this is a new idea or if it's been done before. but it works for me in how much I move around.
