So I just finished Chainfire. I thought I was going to explode while reading it.
I was so frustrated with everyone not believing him. Then he got the proof. I will admit I cried a bit when he showed them the carved statue of wood and it proved her existence. I was so happy. I was like finally they will believe her!
I mean did anyone else feel his frustration?
I remember starting the book and being so pissed off when no one knew her I was actually kind of annoyed. But now it is all good and I've started Chainfire.
So tell me your experience with Chainfire.

It's been over a year since I last read that book. I can't really remember how I felt. I think I was frustrated by the fact that no one believed Richard.
Once I've read the book again I will put my opinion... that might be a while though, because I'm only up to the Soul of the Fire...

Yea its been awhile for me too since I last read it but I also was soo frustrated that no one believed him, I also dont understand why Zedd didnt know about her, isnt he supposed to be liek the all mighty first wizard and crap.

Miki Hikari Yea its been awhile for me too since I last read it but I also was soo frustrated that no one believed him, I also dont understand why Zedd didnt know about her, isnt he supposed to be liek the all mighty first wizard and crap. Yeah odd. I am 200 pages into Phantoms. I will definitely make it before Confessor comes out.

Yeh I agree, especially considering I probably won't read it until after nearly everyone else as I'm reading all the books again before I'll read Confessor... and I don't know if it will be out in Australia the same time as there. Hopefully it is.

I kept imagining myself popping in there with a copy of Wizards First Rule for each of the mand shoving them in your hands, and tellin' them 'Read 'm and weep ye stupid arses! Not litterally weep, you're grown adults ye are!' Or something like that. xD
I felt moved when Richard nearly died to save Cara's life and she showed her true affection for him and stuff, I absolutely loved that part, it was what made my day when I read through that chapter. :3

Frustration seems to be the over all feeling of the book. Mr. Goodkind did a spectacular job of relating emotion, I do think that everyone here felt what they felt because Richard felt it. We saw his pain and were empathetic towards/with him. I don't think anyone here felt angry or frustrated because of the situation, I think we were all angry and frustrated because Richard was.

Just the raw emotion of having no one believe you and knowing what you are doing and saying is true. Then pushing through all the trials to get someone to believe you. Then the entire time having some stupid beast attacking you. Man i would have flipped.
