Horatus turned to watch the approaching students. "At least it will be more interesting today than it was yesterday," he thought as Sasha came padding up behind him and pushed her large head into his hand. "More variety is normally a good thing, give them different things to train against." He began planning out the days activities in his head, the long it took them to walk the worse it would be.

Illia's wings moved so quickly all that could be seen of them was a rainbow blurr and the multitude of silver and white sparkles that cascaded down. Reaching the training grown she hovered a few feet above and slightly left of the giant black wolf, not exaclty something she would get close to unless she had to. Things like that constantly tried to eat her and it was never a fun experience.
Evelyn walked as slowly as she could, which wasn't very slow as she practically skipped everywhere. She couldn't help the students who decided to be late to the training ground as she knew better than to be late herself, just because she was a teacher didn't mean Hortie wouldn't make her run with them.
((Bedtime for the midget. Characters are on NPC unless needed. If people in this group arrive the first order is to run five laps around the field and then stretch.))

Theron took his place next to Illia. He assumed the headmaster might want them standing in some sort of orderly way, since he seemed the type to enjoy having order.

Varnis had took his place in line as he arrived in the training area. I hope we don't have to do anything to bad here. With that thought in his mind, he kept loking forward, still hating Akakage for taking his father's katana.

Prah had flown into the room, and created her own spot, off to the side of the line in the corner. Standing there, she had just hopped that she would learn how to fight better than what she knew how to now.

"Everyone here at the moment must run five laps," Horatus barked. "Any complaints or lapses in running adds an additional lap per failure to follow instruction." Horatus had full plans of watching each of them intently as they ran while Sasha ran amoung them.
Illia took off fluttering but changed size in the middle of what would have been a useless stride until she hit the ground full speed. Running five laps at this size was not going to be very easy she didn't want to think about that many laps at her smaller size. Thank goodness the red-haired headmaster had known what he was doing, unlike some who pretended to be and know more than was true, and her clothes and weapon changed size with her.

Varnis had took off running at a speed that is not too fast, and not too slow, but faster than normal as not to use too much energy while running. Running the laps he strode past the pixie girl as he continued.

Prah had sighed as she had to run laps. "Dam, I can't run..." She said in her head as she started to walk, stumbling ling every where.

s**t! Theron cursed in his head. He could already feel his knee complaining and he hadn't even moved yet. Letting out a sigh, he followed after Varnis

((Vein the only other person running who could be in front of Varnis at first is Illia so he wouldn't be passing everyone he'd be passing the pixie girl who's ridiculously short.))
Evelyn remembered the running, probably her least favorite part, although Akie and made them do other warm ups than running. Hortie might do other things but it was unlikely if this group took too long as she remembered him being a person who was very eager to get things done quickly.
Illia was making good time considering the shortness of her legs, at least she was doing better than the very tall harpy creature who seemed to not be able to run at all. Of all the ways to move quickly other than flying Illia preferred skipping or frolicking to running but if this is what the Headmaster wanted than she would run.

Jazen watched as Varnis passed the girl. is she a pixie? she thought absently. She turned her attention to Prah, struggling once again to run. She's doing fairly well today... definitely better than yesterday. Varnis passed the pixie girl, and she heard Theron's mental complaint about his knee. I'll have to ask about that sometime soon... she thought absently. She held her sheathed dagger loosely in her hand, thinking about the marvelously flawless crystal blade. Reaching for five inches past the hilt, it shone brilliantly when bared to sunlight.

Horatus was tapping his foot impatiently. All of them are a bunch of brats. Although the pixie is polite she is quite... tiny. He was starting to get the feeling that Akakage one upped him somehow and decided enough was enough. "Hurry up you brats." He bellowed, "After I want everybody to give me one hundred push ups without stopping if you stop you will run one lap and continue once more. Move it!"
Illia was running fast but after hearing the outburst from the loud white haired man she sped up not wanting to agitate him anymore. Her wings still giving off a magical aura.

A hundred push up? I can handle that... I gotta finish these laps... my knee is killing me.... Theron thought. Speeding up, he caught up to Varnis, and then passed him, the naga in his bloodline making him agile when he wished it so. Upon finishing, he stretched his left leg and put some pressure on his knee to calm the pain down. As soon as it was calm enough, he dropped to the ground and began his push ups.

((I didn't forget, just haven't been able to get online as I work at a haunted house that has been running until a ridiculous time every day. Last night was the last one but there will still be nights I can't get on.))
Illia could hardly breathe by the time she finished her laps but she didn't want to run anymore so she stared with the push ups. Due to the fact she was so small pushups were no problem and she finished all hundred in very little time. She began streatching while waiting for the others.

((Well, I didn't mean for it to sound mean or anything. I was just wondering...))
Varnis had finished running the laps a few seconds after Theron passed him. Sighing some after he finished he dropped straight to the floor and started to do push ups. "One... Two... Three..." Counting everyone out loud, but not loud enough to annoy anyone.

Prah had just got on her second lap. "100 push ups!?!" She said loudly to her self, but not too quietly. "I guess I have to continue." Sighing she had started to speed up a little faster, but stumbled enough to make her fall. "Umpf!" She let out as she fell, just lying there, she sighed. She just lied there as she had not been able to stand back up.
