There are prophecies from all around the world that point to the supposed "End Times" being upon us. The I Ching, Nostradamus, Revelations, Merlin, etc. etc. And let us not forget the Mayans and their infamous date of December 21st, 2012.

I'm not arguing for any one theory or another. I'm making this topic because I'm curious to know what *you* think will (or won't) happen. Fires, floods, global warming, meteors, pole shifts, aliens? Realms merging, "true forms", astral wars?

Tell me about it. I won't make fun of you for it but I might ask questions or say why I don't feel it's likely. I don't want anyone arguing in here; really, there's no point as we'll all see soon enough what's going to happen or not happen.

I will, however, post some links to get you started and then share my take on what I feel is going to take place.

So post for me what you believe, if anything, will occur around the Winter Solstice in 2012, or relating to such prophecies.

Now, my take. From the research that a friend and I have been doing on the subject, I feel that it will be an escalating effect leading up to that event, most likely having to do with our own sun, but possibly the black hole at the center of our galaxy. What the end effect will be, I have no idea. I just feel that the process leading up to it will not be pleasant.

if heard of it myself many times, as sad as it is, i believe it might happen and its possible its due to how the Earth is treated by people. If you think about it how many animals are extinct cause people destroy their homes, how much smog goes out into the atmosphere, i do agree that it could also happen with the green house effect or maybe another ice age due to that it could be the due date that the sun fizzles out, no one really knows, as sad as to say it'll happen sooner or later if not destroy it then certainly show us that we need to make changes. but thats just my opinion

Nature has wiped out more species than man could ever hope to.

Global Warming is effectively natural and part of the normal hot/cold cycle the Earth is always undergoing. The part about greenhouse gas causing it is people manipulating data.
