I was wondering if the whole gold issue was a little overrated- I've not heard very good things.
So, vote AND tell me your opinion, if possible. Note, however, that if subscriptions stop, jobs stop.

I think it should stay. This is what sets the guild apart from the hundreds of others.

I agree...it should stay at least until it has been tested for a few months or something. Being that it is the beginning of the guild...it might be hard to get your money back (if your goal is not to actually lose gold) mainly because there aren't tons of people that post and thus less are liking to want to be in your RP if you do the GM thing. Plus, there aren't people to be taught at the moment. Or it seems that way...
If I was going to "change" anything...it might be to be lenient at the beginning until all the options can be fully used...that involve gold. *shrugs*
There is my two cents. Hahahaaa

Hence the free month, really. If I had to charge options, per campaign, and stuff like that... I thought of that at first, but it's TOO tiring and timeconsuming and paperworky and stuff.
No pun intended, eh Alykia? blaugh

I just meant...that since the guild is so new...it is hard to truly test out all the abilities in the first month. Mainly cause there are no chances to really participate as teachers/students yet. Not to mention how it takes a while to get a good subforum RP going. It is a lot of planning in general...especially if you want to make it work.
Hahahaaa

I did mention my feelings in the pm I sent you Odysseas but I would like to see this guild use the money based subscriptions. I think it would eliminate all the gamers I have forumed with and absolutely hated. So hope to see the money system begin soon and if you want help, I'm here for your service(but only when it comes to the subscriptions, nothing else).

Oh come on now. You know you want to be part of a extortion ring. It would give you a new roleplaying experience?

I like the subscriptions and salaries idea. It's unique, and if they are truly serious about Roleplaying in this facility then they won't mind paying the small fee of 500 gold a month. I know I won't.

Wow, I like that this idea's liked. Even the poll is 6-3 against dropping them.

Eh. It's fine, really. 500 gold is not that hard to get. Even the laziest posters should get them in a week or two. For me, I get them in two or three days, depending on how much I post.

I agree with the others. The money thing makes the guild unique and who knows, we might start a trend. I think we should wait and see how it turns out. If it doesnt go so well then we can drop it then.
