What is love?
Love is the connection between our peoples,
love is the thing that can join lovers and separate nations.
Hatred is love's counter-part.
Hatred can destroy our lives,
demolish our buildings,
and kill our friends.
The question to contemplate now is,
why do people sacrifice themselves for the sake of another?
Why do we, as humans, lose control of ourselves when struck by such emotions? why?Friends start,
Lovers follow,
will it lead, to a miserable 'morrrow?
or will the luster dissapate,
turn into spite and hate,
Or can tender kiss,
and uttered word,
tread upon the shattered remains of the darkness?
