You don't have to play it... Just make a deck that wins more than it loses and leave it be. I mean... There could be a real card game based on it. There probably is one (In Japan) but it's not even really a minigame as it is a lesson in patience. xd Like Yoda, I feel.

I was actually lame enough to play the game in both part 2 and 3, but oddly enough it went faster in part 3, I think because they learned it sucked in part 2 so they made it shorter in part 3. When I play the trilogy again, i won't even go near the minigame

I sort of played the game... I just threw together a decent deck and left it alone -- I even beat Gaspard my first try in the second volume. The new card system for the third volume was a little more challenging, but I eventually beat Gaspard again.
I think the mini game would have been more popular if you actually got rare items for winning...or at least something. sweatdrop

actually they do have a actual card game out that i know in u.s. of first series don't know if they got series based on the g,u, or what not i hardly get into card games now a days.For the reason i don't have anyone to play the game with or i rather play with younger players since it makes me look too old.
