CONTEST CLOSED. NOW JUDGING. WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCD BY WEDS. NIGHT! PRIZE SOON AFTER! Alright! Here's what ya gotta do for this one.
Have a pumpkin IRL? Carving it this year? Do the best job you can on it, take a picture with a piece of paper saying 'GSOS' and your username and post it here! The most creative will be judged by me, and then will be declared the winner!
HERE'S THE RULES! Quote: 1. The pumpkin MUST be carved by you. Picutes of you CARVING the pumpkin would be nice, but if you're not comfortable with that, a few pictures showing your progress would also do great! These aren't needed, but you'll gain points for this! 2. You MUST have a card/piece of paper with 'GSOS' and your username somewhere in the picture. If you don't, it won't be accepted. 3. The deadline for this contest is NOON PST Mon. Nov 5th. NO EXCEPTIONS!4.Size of the pumpkin does NOT matter. So no worries! 5.BE CREATIVE! Somehting simple could win, but the more creative the better! I'm Making A Note Here...

I was actually going to try to do one of the girls of Haruhi (Kyon's Sister, Mikuru, Yuki, and Haruhi) but eh..im not so good with Knives XD

Lol. Probably a good thing. I'm sure people like us are the type teahers and parents wish would never be around sharp objects. lol. Well, at least I am. Guess its not fair to include you until I know you better. lol.

Kyogama  hows this?! Any chance you can take a pic from a different view and with a handwrote sign? Helps us verifty its real. Thanks! Mia_and_FtLouie I am so all over this. my pictures will be up by the latest on Tuesday biggrin I heart carving pumpkins Glad to hear it! X3

kay, so since I'm part of the crew, I actually want to not be counted for the contest, but i wanted to share my pumpkin anyways. my pumpkin is a double-sider (I did one like this a couple years ago, the last couple times carved, back before I moved away to college) on the front is a dead tree with the words "Happy Halloween" in the branches while on the back is stars (which you can faintly see in the dark pictures.) it looks a little off in regular light/daylight, but it looks really cool at night (the camera doesn't catch how really sweet it is to have the shadows behind the pumpkin, It was a fairly cheap camera, I always get them on sale so it isn't exactly top-notch) my fiancé also did one, his pumpkin is based off of the emoticons that Trillian auto-places what you type "LOL" which makes it look like this: biggrin O biggrin

crystalstarrlight all i can say is... WHOA O_O heh, thanks. I've had a lot of practice over the years, but I'm a bit rusty since I haven't carved in 2 years (moved away to college and lived in an apartment complex, I wanted to do one the first year, but the day before I went out to get my pumpkin I saw someone had totally smashed our neighbors pumpkins they had just carved the day before, so I decided not to, but now I'm in a house, so it's all good). My step-mom and I are hard-core Halloween people (we decorate the yard and house, spend tons of time on costumes, etc) so pumpkin carving was just a normal thing for me growing up. my little sister would try to do her pumpkin but get halfway through and quit because she got bored, so I got to do double pumpkins for a good 5 years. It just takes practice and patience smile
