on a website i saw some books called . Hack//G.U+, .hack//xxxx, .hack//zero, .hack//4korma and . hack//alcor. i have never heard of these books. confused does anyone have any info on them?

I've heard of them. I haven't seen them, but I've heard of them. They're on Wikipedia when you look up .hack.

rolleyes This is Tokyopop we're talking about. Of course it'll come to the US. Tokyopop's yet to pass up a opportunity to make money.

I know .hack//G.U.+ is supposed to be a manga version of the games, and your supposed to get some offline info, but that's all I've heard. sweatdrop

I agree, but Tokyopop's gotten the past couple .hack// things. I doubt they're about to give up their cash cow.

True. I believe Tokyopop's quality has gone down over previous years. They've tried to broaden the types of mangas they carry but almost none of them have appealed to me. THe only series I really buy from them anymore is Saiyuki. So, I do really hope that Del Rey buys the license for at least one of them because they do a really good job especially when it comes to translator notes.

hey, does anyone know when the next .Hack//GU + book comes out. I read the first one and really liked the art. the plot was very............short, and they skipped a lot of the stuff that happened. but I really liked the art.

The second volume just came out 3 or 2 weeks ago I got it for my birthday from one of my friends I have yet to read it but I'm probally going to start later tonight

.hack//XXXX is the manga version of the first four games. ^^ It's kind of different from them, but the artwork is great! biggrin
.hack//zero is a novel set in The World R:1, but I haven't read it or know anything about it...
4koma are 4-panel comic strips. I don't know how many there are and I have barely found any (there aren't any on the read-manga-online sites), but I have some saved on my computer... ^^''
I don't know much about Alcor except that it introduces a new character as main and that it's drawn in a really cute style. ^__^
