Is anybody as excited as I am? I've been changing my avatar around a bit for Halloween, he gets to be somewhat creepy now. :3 I've been getting a lot of really happy small children at Target, who like to tell me what they're going to be for Halloween. I have various ones.. but one that I thought was pretty unique was a ~11 year old girl who was going to be a 'dead author' and was buying glasses for it. XD
And then I was like. How lame am I, just gonna be a cheerleader? Our security guard is going to be Morgan LaFey (sp?) from the King Arthur legends, and nobody knew who it was so she had to try and find someone who did all evening. Poor her. D:
So I'm thinking I may wear my vampire fangs with my cheerleading outfit, and add some more spice to it.. hm. Any ideas?
Anyway, what are you all thinking of being for Halloween? Looking forward to the occasion? :]

I love, love, love Halloween. Dressing up is oh so much fun, and the candy ain't so bad either. Not to mention that I love seeing all the little kids come to our house. My family used to build a haunted house in our front yard. My dad and brother would build a wooden frame and we'd put those plastic black sheets on it and paint it with neon paints. Then we'd spice up the front porch with severed hands and spider webs and skeletons. It wasn't real scary, but the whole neighborhood loved coming over. Now with my brother gone and my dad real busy, we don't do it as often, but we still jazz up the porch.
Anyways, I want to be a faerie, again. Thing is, I got a costume earlier in the month, but now I don't want to wear it and I feel bad for making my mom buy it. So I'm probably going as a snow queen in the end. I'm also inviting a couple friends over, but since many have little siblings, some aren't going to make it. Not to mention the band director is making all my friends go to a parade that night until eight o' clock, which I think is really mean of him.
Whoa, sorry for the long post. I just get real excited for Halloween. biggrin

It's Morgan Le Fay for some reason (Fay should be feminine, but it's Le, just like for morte).
Fay is for faerie, fey has something to do with death, something like "doomed to die". (Not 100% sure here)
I have no idea what I'm going to do for Halloween! >_<
...
I'm going to dress as my cellphone in human form.

Schweet.
Our Halloween party round happened last night, and I changed my costume idea like three times.
I was gonna be gothic, but goth pants are wayyy too s'pensive.
I wound up cosplaying as L from Death Note. XD It was SO FUN. I definitely would do it again in a heartbeat. Nobody knew who I was, either, but I only got asked once, so it didn't matter too much.

I LOVE Halloween. Though I don't go trick-or-treating anymore, I do pass out the candeh to the little treaters. I like to see what they're dressed up as. We also have our floating Ghost up and every one freaks out because it's sound sensitive and they don't expect it. It's great.
Our principal is actually letting us dress up for Halloween this year. My friend actually convinced me to dress up with her as characters from Twighlight by Stephanie Meyer. So I'm going as Alice, she convinced our other friend to be Jasper, she's going as Bella and I don't know who else she got in on it. So, we'll see. *shrugs* Just wish I had theatrical contacts... I found where I can buy some but they're sooooo expensive. Hmm... Donations anyone? (9.9)b lol I'm kidding.
