I'm pissed off at this, why is the NHS first not putting it out until next year and then not letting girls over the age of 13 get it for another year? The only reason I can see for any sort of delay is for purchasing and distributing the vaccination. And then, what about girls my age who won't be able to qualify for it any way? Why are we being denied the opportunity to have it on the NHS? Unfair. I'm going private.
(NHS= National Health Service, we get free health care in the UK)

My guess is that the Government is rolling it out in stages because of the huge cost. It costs around £250 (I've seen varying figures quoted so I'm not sure the exact amount) for each person to get the three shots needed for maximum protection - quite expensive when compared to around £12 for two doses of the MMR vaccine. >.<
