Roze walked tentatively through the Bunny Luv Fields, her blue eyes on the small purple bundle in her arms. "This place is beautiful, Callie," she whispered to the Magical Fox cradled in her arms. She felt Callie stir and a smile crept to her lips. Her voice was low and soft as she began to sing her friend's favorite lullaby. Her bright blue eyes stared up at the sky, but her voice never faltered. Soon, she felt the fox's breathing even, signalling that she was asleep.

Midna trudged up the way. The Karrots were all safely asleep in their burrow, so Midna was alone. He couldn't fit in a burrow, being a large adult male Unigon. Midna had told the little Karrots to stay in their where they'd be safe until he came back for them. At least this gave him time to think by himself... He paused as he saw a person and a Magical Fox. A human? Midna pawed the ground in agitation. What was a human doing there? Quietly, Midna approached. He'd show this human where she could sit. They had big wooden things to live in next to long, hard rock ways where fast metal monsters zoomed by. Why did they need to be here, too?

Roze looked up, her blue eyes landing on the large, dark grey Unigon coming towards her. Unknowingly, she took a step back, tightening her grip her purple "child". As her hand brushed the soft fur of Callie's side, her spine went rigid. She had to protect her, even if that meant putting herself in harm's way. She wasn't about to turn tail and run; Callie had a right to be here as well. No one was going to take that from her.

Midna snorted, still pawing the ground. A Magical Fox. Would that eat a Karrot? Midna's friends were Karrots. But Midna was stronger than the small fox... Magical Fox... That implied that it could use magic. Midna tossed his head. Magic would be tricky. Midna had little to no magic. He relied on brute strength. If the tricky little fox used magic on him and snuck into the Karrot hole... Midna gave a loud whinny. That wouldn't happen! Midna would squash them flat before they even got started on their mumbo-jumbo magic tricks! Midna did not see that the fox was sleeping, so he thundered, "Who are you and why are you here?" at it. He knew that the human would not be able to understand his words, but the fox would. Midna saw the fox as the leader because he knew that he could easily overpower a human girl. A grown, strong man might be a challenge to Midna, but a little girl was nothing. A Magical Fox could be a threat. Midna took a step forward, his eyes wide and nostrils flared to show that he meant business.
