Okay everyone! As an example, this story has been in my head for a few weeks to a month after seeing a picture, which I thought was so cute! But now I can't find it. Anyway, here's an example to what this forum is about.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Title: Reflection of the Past Flowered Gem
Author/ess: YGO Cupid
Pairings: Mostly YY(A)/Y
Characters included: Seto, Joey, Bakura (Thief), Ryou, Duke (briefly), Tristan, Seto (Priest), Malik (That's what I call the hikairi half), Isis, Mana, Mahado, Shada, Kalim, Shimon, Grandpa, and other's that may come up.
Summary: It's been a year since Yami (or Atem) went into the after life and Yugi is trying to move on with his life. His college freshmen year is about to end and his history professor talks him into going to Egypt for extra credit over the summer. He goes to Egypt, only to stubble at an unknown tomb that was hidden away from the tomb that Atem was buried. What he finds in the tomb is a huge surprise and forces him to see into the past once again... As someone who has strong binds to the Pharaoh.
Warnings: Some violence (duh), Yugi being a girl (literally!), and other's I can't think up at the moment. sweatdrop

Ch. 1: Trip It was a sunny afternoon in Tokyo University where we see students here and there doing various of activities: typing on their laptops, talking to their friends, talking on their cell phones, playing games, taking naps under the tree, or just simply walking around the campus. Among the activities, we see a spiky hair of ebony, magenta. Upon closer examination, we could also see the blonde bangs that framed a child-like, but slightly mature, face, which held two large eyes with irises of the light amythest color. This person is, you guess it, our one and only Yugi Mouto! Yes, Yugi has grown a little, but was still short among his peers, but didn't complain about it anymore. He walked around the campus when his cell went off. The ring tone was 'Dearest' from the ending theme for Inuyasha from the second or third season. "Mochi, mochi." Yugi said. "Hey Yug'!" Joey's voice rang out. "How's my buddy doing?" Yugi laughed as he responded. "Same thing as high school, just a bit busy." "Yeah, that's true! So, what are ya doin'?" "I'm going to see Moi-sensei, she wants to talk to me about something." "Moi-sensei? Which subject does she teach?" "Ancient World History AP." "Damn! I forgot you got into that advance placement class. How is it by the way?" "Hard! Something you couldn't really handle even if it saves your life." He laughed. "Very funny Yug'! Well, listen, I have plans to spend time with my sis over the summer, is that okay with ya?" "Not at all! Oh, how's Seto these days?" "Ya mean you didn't see him around at campus?" "He's here?" "Yeah, he's suppose to be a 'guest speaker' to the buisness math people there." "Really? Nope, I haven't seen him around." "Ah well, ya'll bump inta each otha eventually." Yugi giggled. "Well, I'm getting close to my class, I'll talk to you later." "Talk to ya lata! Bye!" With that, they disconnected. Yugi put his cell away and walked into his history class, where a mid-age woman with short, black hair looked at him. She smiled, making her emerald green eyes sparkle. (con't. @ next post)

"Hello Yugi, thank you for coming by."
"Hello Moi-sensei and you're welcome."
"Please, take a seat."
Yugi did as he sat down on the stool by her desk. "So, what's so important that I need to know?"
"Well, I heard that your grandfather went to many places when he was younger as a volunteer, correct?"
He nodded.
"And I also know that you went to Egypt one time, correct?"
He nodded.
"Yugi, I have talked to some of my colleages and I mentioned you in the discussion. Do you know a Professor Hawkins?"
"Yes, he's a friend of my grandpa!"
"Well, he pulled some strings and he has found someone to give you a scholorship."
Yugi was really surprised by this. "Really?"
She nodded. "Now, the only way to get this is to spend one summer in Egypt. Not only that, but I'll also throw in some extra credit for some of the subjects in high school that you didn't quite make." She eyed him in a 'yes-I-know-about-it' face.
Yugi laughed nervously before asking. "What will I do?"
"Well, according to the e-mail from Hawkins, he and his team have found an unknown tomb next to a Pharaoh's tomb."
"An unknown tomb?"
She nodded. "Yes, but don't worry, you just take down notes and do at least five journal entries on the dig. And I want it in detailed form, like a writer would have."
He nodded. "Okay, when will I start?"
"I already let your grandfather know and he agreed to take you to the airport on June 20th at three o' clock."
He nodded. "Okay, thank you."
She smiled. "I expect a good detail report when you come back next year so I could show it to my students on how a good hardworker's work is really like. You know I don't give these kinds of oppertunities to just anyone."
He nodded. "I know." He got off the stool. "I don't see why everyone says you're a witch."
She laughed. "That's because I don't give you a hard time!"
He laughed as well as he waved. "See you around, Moi-sensei!"
"Have a safe summer Yugi!"
Later in the day, the school bells rang out to signal the end of the class day. Students flooded the once empty campus as they headed to their dorms, bus stops, or to the nearby shops around the campus. Yugi on the other hand was walking when he saw a limo. The door opened to reveal Seto Kaiba, a CEO of his company and now an on and off rival of Yugi.
"Need a lift?" Seto said in his usual irritated tone.
Yugi just smiled and got in. "Hey Kaiba! How've you been?"
Seto looked out of the one way window and responded. "The usual."
"I heard you were around campus today."
"Did the Mutt tell you that?"
"Yeah, he called me on my way to my history class."
"History?"
"Yeah, my teacher said I could earn a scholorship and extra credit if I go to Egypt over the summer." (con't. @ next post)

Seto looked at Yugi this time. "Egypt?"
He nodded. "Yep."
"You sure you're ready to go back?" Seto said in an slight concerned tone.
"Kaiba, it's been a year... Everyone has to know when to move on." He said as he smiled brightly. "Besides! He wouldn't want me to cry the next Nile River for him for the rest of my life, right?"
Seto was expressionless, but nodded. "Whatever you say."
About five blocks away from the Gameshop, Yugi spoke up once more.
"I do admit though... When I heard about me going to Egypt, I did feel a little taken back... But I know I have to go back sooner or later, or I'll never be able to truely move on with my life."
Seto sighed. "You're going to be old like your grandfather before you reach fourty."
"HEY!"
Seto smirked.
Yugi pouted. "You being funny on the other hand is almost like a sign that the world's going to end."
Seto rolled his eyes. "Please, there are far more unusual and worse signs to compete with me on the fate of this world."
Yugi's eyes widened.
Seto also looked a little shocked at what he just said and pointed at Yugi. "This is between you and me, got it!"
Yugi raised his hands. "Okay, between you and me." At that moment, the limo drove up to the curb in front of the gameshop. "Thanks for the lift Kaiba!"
"Whatever." Seto said as the door closed and the limo drove off.
Yugi shrugged as he headed to the door of the gameshop. 'Hasn't changed.' He thought as he opened the door to see his grandfather. "I'm back!"
The elder looked over and smiled at his grandson. "Well, welcome home Yugi! How was your day?"
"Same chaos, different day." Yugi joked as he sat down to take off his shoes.
"Yugi... Your history professor called about your trip to Egypt. I agreed to take you there if you decided to go-"
"I'm okay Grandpa." Yugi said as he looked up at concerned violets. "Besides... I think this trip is what I exactly need right now."
The elder sighed. "If you're sure."
He nodded. "As sure as I'll ever be." (con't @ next post)

When June 20th arrived, Yugi went into the airport at 2: 17 p.m. He looked to see Professor Hawkins with Rebecca waiting for him by the gate they were going in. "Yugi darling!" Rebecca called as she ran up and hugged him. "Oh... Hey Rebecca." He said a little nervously. "Oh darling! I missed you so much!" Rebecca continued to speak as she nuzzled her face onto his. 'Please tell me there's two stops.' Yugi thought as Professor Hawkins went up and shooed his granddaugther off. "I'm sorry about that Yugi, but I couldn't shake her off until she gets to see you." He explained. "That's okay, no one got hurt." He said as he got up. "Are you ready to have a summer full of exploration?" "If you really call going to dead peoples graves an exploration." Rebecca said. "Rebecca!" Pro. Hawkins called in a warning tone. Yugi sweatdroped as he watched this. 'This is going to be a long trip.' He thought as he sat down on one of the seats they have around the area. Soon the two Hawkins stopped arguing and the Professor went to get something to drink, while Rebecca grabbed Yugi's arm and started to hug and nuzzle. "I wish you could come over to America for summer, we would have a great time!" She said. 'Yeah... great time.' Yugi thought. 'She's nice and all, but I'm glad we have different flights.' "Flight to New York now boarding! Flight to New York now boarding!" Said one of the flight attendents. Rebecca whined. "I don't want to go! I want to stay with my Yugi!" 'Why does she have to cause a scene?' He thought as the Professor came and talked her to go on the plane quietly. Once that was done, their plane was boarding as well and they stood a line to get on. "Yugi..." Pro. Hawkins started to say. "I'm okay." Yugi said, knowing what the elder was going to say, since he knows how the departure of the Pharaoh had greatly impacted him. "I wanted to go to face it and move on." The elder sighed and said no more as they found their seats and prepared for the long trip ahead. End Chapter

Everyone got the idea? If you want, you could pick a color so that your story doesn't get confused with another persons story. And remember, if you go on FanFiction, MediaMiner, or another fanfiction site, you could put a link here. Just don't forget to describe what the story is about and the rating on it, I don't want to end up getting in trouble for giving everyone free rein to express here.

Ch. 2: Mysterious Tomb When they arrived at about seven o'clock, they walked down to see Ishizu, who waved at them (mostly at Yugi). "Ishizu!" Yugi called happily as he ran up to hug her. She laughed as she embraced the young man. "It's great to see you as well Yugi." Yugi took a step back and noticed that her hair was tied back into a braided pony tail and was wearing what looked like an archeologist would wear. A tan, short sleeved shrit with short tan shorts and hiking boots. "Are you also in the dig Ishizu?" She nodded. "The head museum director asked me personally to go and make sure none of the artifacts found in the tomb were stolen." She said as she led them to the parking lot, where Odion was waiting inside a desert jeep. "Hello Yugi! Long time no see." He said with a smile. Yugi smiled. "Yeah! It has been awhile." He said as he took his seat next to Pro. Hawkins while Ishizu sat in the passenger seat in front. "Any new reports on the tomb?" Pro. Hawkins asked. Ishizu shook her head. "I'm afraid not Professor, it looks like an incomplete tomb from the roughness around the walls and the unsteadiness of the ground." Pro. Hawkins thought about this. "Do you think it has something to keep hidden?" "It's quite possible that whoever built the tomb made it look like there is no value, but I do not see why they built the tomb to keep something hidden from many." "I know what you mean, but there has been many discoveries like this that were not explained until the pieces finally fit." She nodded. "Quite true, but why is this tomb so well hidden next to the Pharaoh At-" She stopped to look at Yugi. "I'm sorry." "It's okay Ishizu, I'm over it." He said. "You were saying about why the tomb is hidden by Atem's tomb." Ishizu looked at Yugi for a moment before speaking once more. "Like Yugi said, it just doesn't make sense." "Maybe Pharaoh Atem had a another secret that maybe he didn't know of." Pro. Hawkins said, almost regreting what he said. "A secret?" Yugi asked, slightly shocked about this. "It's just a theory Yugi! Nothing to get so hyped up over!" Yugi nodded. "Yeah, you're right." He said as he looked out of the window and saw the night sky, while the rest of the way was in silence. As they went up to the Ishtar household, which is right next to the museum, Malik was waving from the garage door. "Hey!" He called.
Ishizu giggled. "When he heard you were coming, Yugi, he was really surprised and did all the house work to get you settled in." She told him.
Yugi giggled as he went out, only to find Malik right there.
"Hey there!" Malik said as he got Yugi in an arm lock and ruffled his hair. "Why didn't you give me a call? Huh?"
"Cut it out Malik!" Yugi said between his laughter. "I'm here now, right?"
"Yeah! But I would like a call or an e-mail at least once a month!"
"Oh quit whining Malik!" Ishizu said as she got Yugi's bag. "Yugi has to focus on college, like you should be."
"Ah! Come on! It's summer!"
Yugi giggled as the two siblings were at each other.
Odion sighed as he took Yugi's bag from Ishizu and grabbed Pro. Hawkins as well.
"I could get that!" Yugi said as he reached for his bag. "Less to carry."
Odion smiled and nodded. "Thanks."
"No problem."
About three hours later, Yugi was in bed, but he wasn't asleep. 'So the mysterious tomb is next to Atem's huh?' He thought as he looked out at the window. 'It's probably stuff that he had as a child or somthing... Yeah, that's probably it.' But even that thought didn't help him sleep as well. 'This is going to take all night.' He thought as a memory of Atem came into mind. 'I haven't thought about him for awhile.' He thought sadly as he turned to his side. 'This trip has to help me out somehow.' He covered his face with a pillow, to drown the sobs. 'Because I still hurt so much...' (con't. next post)

The next day arrived and they were once again in the jeep heading to a small airport.
"Ishizu, why does Malik stay at the museum?" Yugi asked.
"Because he got in trouble at the college just days before the end of the year and now he's paying it for having a summer job, no motorcycle, do the summer projects, and re-taking some courses."
"Oh..." Yugi said as he sat back in his seat. 'Still a troublesome guy.' He thought with a mental laugh.
"How are your friends doing lately?" Odion asked.
"They're doing fine! Joey got into a cooking school around the area, with some help from Seto, and he's still a CEO of his company. Tristan is in the Army to get a scholorship, Duke is running his buisness as usual, Ryou is in London for his college. And Tea..." He paused for a moment.
"Is something wrong?" Pro. Hawkins asked.
"We're not... friends anymore, you could say."
"I'm sorry." Odion said.
"It's okay... She went to New York, bought a place there and we haven't made any contact since. None of the guys have heard from her either."
Everyone was quiet for a moment.
"Though I know why..." Yugi said with a dry laugh. "It's because I remind her too much like Atem. She couldn't look me in the eye anymore after three months." He remembered how his friend since grade school suddenly became a stranger to the gang. "Besides, she always wanted female friends, now she has a ton of them!" He said with a smile, but it was forced.
"We're here!" Odion annoucned when they saw a small airport.
"There's our plane! The 'Overseer'." Ishizu said as she pointed out a white plane with a blue stripe along the body.
Ishizu, Pro. Hawkins, and Yugi got out of the jeep and waved Odion off as he drove away. After that, they headed into the plane.
The trip only took about thrity minutes to reach to the small airport near the Valley of the Kings. After they got off, they were waiting for another colleage of Pro. Hawkins.
"So... What kind of tomb is it? The one you're investigating." Yugi asked as they were waiting.
"As we said yesterday, we're not completely sure exactly..." Pro. Hawkins explained as Ishizu continued.
"But from what my team and I found out that it was no doubt built at the same time as the Pharaoh's was built, but somewhere along the way they stopped trying to build it. But like the Professor said, it could be that the builders made it that way to throw off those who try to tresspass." She sighed. "But the question is that why it's there, and in such a place?"
"Where is it exactly?"
"It's slightly to the right of the tomb, behind some boulders."
Yugi was slightly confused. "Boulders? How was the tomb found then?"
"It was a small mis-hap." Pro. Hawkins said. "You see, a month earlier, I was a visitor guest at the time and one of the ameture students accidently left out his magnifying glass out and it ignited one of the small dynamite that were there to move hard heavy, less important objects, like the boulder, and lord and behold there it was!"
Yugi was slightly uneasy about the situation now. 'Maybe I shouldn't go...' He then mentally slapped himslef. 'NO! I came here to face this! And I'm not going home with a heavy heart!'
Soon the jeep was speeding towards them, scaring them to no end. "Professor! Miss. Ishtar! Please come quick! We found something in the tomb!"
All three of them were shocked to hear this as they quickly jumped into the jeep. (con't. next post)

Once they sped through the Valley of the Kings, Yugi could remember the area that last time he saw it. Then the jeep stopped suddenly, making him bash his head on the back of the driver seat. "Hurry!" The man said as he went out, along with Ishizu, followed by Pro. Hawkins, then Yugi, who got over the sudden whiplash. 'Who the hell taught him how to drive?' He thought as he went up to the huge group that were on the right of the tomb he knew too well of. 'Atem's tomb...' He thought as he pushed is way through the group. When he got to the center of the attention, what he saw shocked him like the others. Laying on the ground in the clear, brilliant sky was a pile of silver trinkets. "What is this?" Pro. Hawkins said. "Professor, it's just a theory..." Said a young female archeologist. "But I think this tomb may have a mummy as welll." "And you are?" "I'm Amy Sole, fifth in my class in Cairo U. in Egyptology." She said. "And why do you say that?" "Well, while the rest of the team founded the silver treasures and carefully bringing them out, I noticed a room behind the silver, but I thought I saw something else..." "What is it?" Ishizu asked. "I... I saw what looked like a sarcophagus... But I also saw... red eyes... Almost like a demons in Japanese mythology." "Alright..." Ishizu said. "I want everyone except the fifth years to head back to their stations, the rest follow me!" "Yugi..." Pro. Hawkins said. "I think it's best you stay out for now." Yugi nodded as he watched them enter the tomb. It was only fifteen minutes before everyone could hear the screams and saw everyone running out. "What on earth?" Said one of the young Egyptian men that came along to help. "Ishizu! Pro. Hawkins!" Yugi called as he ran up to them. "What happened?!" "Well tell you later Yugi..." Pro. Hawkins said. "But not now!" Ishizu said as she looked at the group. "We'll call it a day for now! Let's see what we could find with what we have!" Everyone agreed and went into their tents, while the three went into a different tent. "What happened back there?" Yugi asked. The two didn't know what to say to him, but Ishizu spoke up. "We were looking at the other treasures that the tomb held. At first I thought it could be an extra room for the Pharaoh's possessions, but when one of the archologists tried to open the door that Amy mentioned..." Pro. Hawkins continued. "We saw, a form of a sarcophagus, but we saw a Duel Monster as well." "A Duel Monster?!" Yugi said with wide eyes. Ishizu nodded. "Yes... I think there's more in that room that the Pharaoh didn't tell... Or someone didn't want to be remembered..." Yugi was confused. "What?" "Before I saw the Monster, which I couldn't make out, I saw something that I thought was impossible." "What was that?" "It was... a heiroglyph... of you..." 'A heiroglyph of me?!' "Only... was I thought I saw... the heiroglyph depicted you as a female." 'A girl?!' "I saw it too." Pro. Hawkins said. "But that's not all! It looked as though this 'Female' is the wife of the Pharaoh." " ATEM WAS MARRIED!!" "Not so loud Yugi!" Ishizu warned. "It comes as a great surprise to us as well." She took a deep breath. "Are you sure you did not see a woman that looked like you when you entered the Pharaoh's memories?" "If I did, she wouldn't be hard to miss!" Yugi said. "Unless she died before that happened." "That's a possiblity." Ishizu said. "But we'll look into it more once we know how to get past the monster that guards the room." With that Ishizu went out to look at the artifacts that the others were able to get out. "Silver..." Pro. Hawkins said as he examined a ring he managed to get before running out. "Shouldn't that be examined with the others?" Yugi asked. "Yes, but something is bothering me..." The Professor said. "In most tombs you would find gold, wood finery, and gems that they had back then. But... This tomb has only silver items, a common metal for trading." "Maybe she perfered silver." Yugi said. "It's not just that, but in the tomb, it depicted of the moon." Yugi thought about it before saying. "Well, the Pharaoh is seen as the sun... so she must be seen as the moon. A balance to night and day..." "That could be it!" Pro. Hawkins said with a smile. "My, my, you're becoming a young Egyptologist." Yugi smiled oddly, but it was a true smile. 'But something bothers me though...' He thought as he slightly heard the other going out to help Ishizu out. 'If there was someone that looked like me, wouldn't Atem...' He shook his head. "Nah! He probably got all of his memories back one hundred percent when he went into the afterlife." He said to himself as he took out a pencil and a notebook and started to write about the day in detail. Soon the wind started to pick up, knocking over a lamp near Yugi. He jumped a bit as he looked at the lamp, only to see something that surprised him a bit. There was a white cat with sparkling amythest eyes, almost like his. "Where did you come from?" Yugi asked as the cat looked over where the tomb was. "The tomb?" He was a bit shocked, knowing from experience about the supernatural, and looked back to see that the cat was gone. But it left something. On the ground was writing in heiroglyphs. 'Come to seek the truth in the night.' He thought as he translated in his mind. At that moment... he felt two things... completely scared and completely tempted. End Chapter
