Ok so today is Saturday, and the scheduled day for my section 8 of my county to have there conference championsships. Instead I am here, on a computer, surfing Gaia. Now why am I doing this? Because my meet was cancelled due to a little PREDICTED rain yesterday. There wasn't even lighting when the meet was supposed to be, it was drizzling.

THERE IS A BIG PROBLEM WITH THIS IN MY MIND!

I remember my sophmore when I first started XC, we ran unless it was lighting. AKA: We never had a cancelled meet. We never used to wait for good "field" conditions, while other sports did. We just ran. If there was mud, we got muddy. If there was rain, we got wet. If was rainy and muddy, we got wet AND muddy. Big woop!

I was looking forward to having my very last XC race in the rain too, b/c running in the rain is AMAZING, as I'm sure some of you would agree ^^

Does anyone see a problem with cancelling a meet due to some rain?
Is anyone else experiencing these stupidities as well?
