I came across this a while back an instantly fell in love with it. It was made originally for a grafitti stencil but then I thought, "Hey, with a little color and the right artist, I could get this done as a tattoo." So, my question is, what do you all think of it? Are the lines too fine? Of course, there's a lot of black, but I'd like to either make that negative space, or some sort of color, so it's not too blobby. I just don't want it to turn into a blob when I get older.

EDIT: My 18th birthday's coming soon, and i've made an appointment with the world-famous Hannah Aichison [more popularly known from the show LA Ink] to get my chest plate done. This design is deffinatley in the works, but my chest plate comes first!

if you find a really good artist, the first one could turn out really ******** cool. You couldn't do it like a stencil, it would have to be redrawn...a guy that works at my shop drew this (clickies) and that would be how you could do something like that. don't steal that one though.

WOAH...That's really ******** AWESOME! But don't worry, I respect his art...that's just lame to steal it...

There are very small details that would be hard to be transferred
you would have to find someone very skilled. make sure that
when they put the initial mark on you. make sure it looks right before
they start to needle it in. would def. be a hot tat though

i love love love that first one. i think you can definitely get that done. as long as you know the artist has skill...and you can do some awesome color w that, too!!

the second one is nice, too...but i love simplicity in images that still make you think. awesome!!

Yeah, thats part of my attraction to grafitti. The image was actually originaly designed as a stencil. :]

OK guys, im STILL not 18 yet, BUT here's another idea that will FOR SURE be a tattoo. I am part of the RABID following of the band Tegan and Sara, I have been for about 3 years now...and My ALL TIME favorite song by them is Living Room, I love it so much, Im going to get this:

It's the actuall banjo part to the song. Im SOOOO excited! I planning on getting it running from A little bit higher than the wrist to the elbow. Thoughts?
