So now that AX 2007 is done with and you have had time to let the excitement die down, what was your overall impression of AX this year?
There hasn't been a post in the guild in a long time it seems.

I will go first! This was my first AX, so I was pretty excited and had a great time, I even got to cosplay. I went to some events, I wish I could have gone to more. I loved that Oreskaband was there! I bought a lot of neat stuff too. Sadly, the security was my biggest issue, they were all so rude. I also didn't like the weird split of the convention and the weird way to get to stuff. But I still had tons of fun, and would definitely go back next year.

My worst AX ever. I was at a horrible hotel and had to switch to a better FARTHER hotel, so I only went to one dance where the party was as dull as a door knob. I was being herded everywhere so I couldn't take pictures of anything or anyone. I also didn't get to purchase the things I really wanted.
I'm really sad about AX 2007 crying .

at AX 2007 i had a ton of fun. just not at the con... it sucked... way to hard to get anywhere and was like a billion miles from one place to the next. the few events i did go to didn't turn out that well, and i just might of had to leave if it not for the fact it was fun to be with friends for 4 day away from home for awhile. if next year is this bad i might not go anymore...

It sucked haaaaard.
Location was effy but it was good it was near food.
the exit out of the dealer's hall PISSED me off.
The whole venue that had all the events was way to small for the amount of people that come to AX.
The only good thing was the concerts.

My friend and I were complaining about how most of the security guards were so rude this year. AX06 wasn't so bad... but... man, could we please get some nicer people that'll do their job? I also didn't like the split convention part too much either... xP hopefully it won't be like that at LA this year.... Hm... I'd have to say that my favorite part of AX was definately attending the SKIN concert. THe beginning part was a pain in the a** to deal with because there was a really, REALLY long wait. but their overall performance was just absolutely freaking amazing. I kinda lost my voice in the end after screaming too much... <-<;; ... ...ahh the fangasm... The year was okay... I just hope that next year will be even better...

So, I faked a leg injury and got to go in and out the entrance the last two days mwahaha. Claiming you fell down some stairs really works. But the first two I wanted to murder the security.

It was sub-par from my perspective.
Cons for meh...
-Far less Fan-service
-Panels, and whatever were practically too far apart
-The best of panels of my taste were practically on at the same time.
-Guards put my guitar out of commision since they think i'm playing for cash
Pros for meh...
-Lots of free stuff
-Met swell anime-lovin' musician folk
-Convention was easy to travel to
-Next to the coast
