Toast cannot be explained by any rational means. Toast is me. I am toast. I'm a bit of a foreign film junkie... ...the few I get my hands on in this tiny town are so much better than all the filler Hollywood spews out... So, does anyone else here watch any German films?

One of my favorite films is "Comedian Harmonists". (Or just "the Harmonists" as it's called in America.) It's a bit harder to understand because it's Süddeutsch. But if you have the subtitles on, it's all good.
And then there's always "Lola Rennt", but I don't like it too overly much. I thought the idea was poorly executed...but it's great to laugh at. And it's easy to understand, so if you're wanting to practice German, I'd recommend it.

"You better believe all you do has a sense, it's not for nothing...
Good Bye, Lenin!
Anyone seen it? With Daniel Brühl...
...You better believe all the troubles you have will pay you someday."
