I'm not very familiar with Korean music.

I'm probably most familiar with BoA. I own her last two Korean CDs. I heard she was going to stop performing because she "no longer enjoys it" and is going to go to school in the US.

Yeah, I'm sure that's going to be much more rewarding. Of course, that was a long time ago, so that could have changed. I don't really keep up with her anymore.

Anywho, the most recent Korean thing I've heard was that promotional group Anyband, which included BoA and three other people I don't know. They were promoting a cellphone or something.

Well, I like foreign music, and I like to listen to korean music since I'm korean, and I don't think its that different than jpop, but the popular bands I find are all like epik high, which is hip-hop (which I really don't like... their Krap... and you can find that stuff in any other country...) I think Korean music just needs to develope a specific "korean" air.
