For those who don't know, there is a Firefly Fanfilm being made in Melbourne, Australia called "Bellflower", which is set in the Firefly/Serenity 'verse with new characters and a different ship. I found a shiny teaser trailer if any are interested (you may need the DivX web plugin):

It may or may not be the same clip. I found it in the media section of the Bellflower website.

If anybody cares, there's a new trailerish video available for download for this thinghere.
It a few posts down. It doesn't seem to me like it'll be an amazing flick or anything, but I am very impressed with the CGI effects they've done. I like some fanfilms enormously, others just seem to be bad attempts at bad movie making... But everyone once in a while I see one where I say, "This is how you make a movie, you put die hard fans in charge of something they love and will not try and 'fix' to suit them."
I sincerely hope this is the latter.

D'aww. I can't seem to find the trailer, but I'm glad some fan movies are successful in being made*. I haven't seen any, really, but I like that people take advantage of having such an expansive universe to play in. It's great.

*Unlike that tease of a MYST movie. Which I guess is a little different because they're trying to get funding from the company. Or something. Also, not nearly as popular
