Coheed and Cambria's History
(1995 - 2001) ShabutieMarch 1995 - Claudio Sanchez, Travis Stever, Jon Carleo and Nate Kelly come together to form the band Beautiful Loser
June 1995 - Beautiful Loser broke up with the departure of Travis and the remaining trio renamed themselves Shabutie
August 1996 - Jon Carleo leaves the band, to be replaced by Micheal Todd who picked up bass specifically for the band.
1999 -
Plans to Take Over the World is released.
Travis Stever rejoins the band
The Penelope EP is released
Nate Kelly leaves the band in a middle of a bad preformance and is replaced by Josh Eppard
2000 -
Delirium Trigger EP is released
(2001 - 2006) Coheed and CambriaFebuary 2002 -
The Second Stage Turbine Blade is released through Equal Vision records. The album included guest appearances by Dr. Know and Bad Brains. It also included reworks of the songs 'Junesong Provision' '33' and 'Delirium Trigger'.
October 2003 -
In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 was released through Equal Vision records.
August 2004 - The concert that would become
Live at the Starland Ballroom was preformed.
March 2005 -
Live at the Starland Ballroom DVD is released.
September 2005 -
Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness is released through Columbia Records.
October 2006 - Claudio Sanchez's side project
The Prize Fighter Inferno, releases its first album titled
My Brothers Blood Machine. On the same day the bands second live dvd
The Last Supper is also released.
(November 2006 - 2007) A change for Coheed and CambriaNovember 2006 - Josh Eppard and Michael Todd offically leave the band due to personal issues. They are replaced temporarily by Matt Williams and the bands drum tech.
April 2007 - Michael Todd returns to the band in time to start recording the new album. The bands perminate new drummer, Chris Pennie, was unable to play on the album due to prior contract obligations. Taylor Hawkins took his place during the recording of the album.
October 2007 -
Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow is released through Columbia Records.
