As soon as you're born they make you feel small
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

This will be a short roleplay, lasting as long as this does, then maybe after it closes, we could see if it could be transfered to the Roleplay Sub-Forum. It is set in a D&D type setting, which will become more clear as we go on. I'll be the "DM" but also will be playing a character myself.

So here's the story:

~~~~ You live in a large, underground city, being raised in the ways for fighting, wizardy, and even some High Priesthood. Your race is taught that the races on the world above are all evil, and live with a large ball of flame above there heads in the morning, and a pale ball of fire during the night. You are all taught as you grow up that should you ever meet one of the races from above, you should slaughter them.
Your race is seperated into Ten different Houses, named by their position, and that position represents how strong your house is. The top three houses are the High houses, then the lower seven are the lower houses. Each son or daughter of the Matron of each house is a noble, and the only other way you could be named a noble is for the Matron to decide it.
When you reach the age of 15, you are sent to the academy, where you are taught how to be a warrior, wizard, or priest. After another 15 years of training, you graduate and are assinged to either the Wizards academy, the Temple, or set out on patrols around the city. The patrols take care of monsters that could be dangerous to your city, or anything else they have you do.
Your race is taught to hate all races above ground, taught to kill, to slay. But you all find this sickening. Whatever your reason, you want to get away from the rest of your race. You are Rebel Drow, trying to find a way to get away from your city. ~~~~
Each of you that wish to join, in your opening post, find a way to let us know which class you are (Wizard, Priest/ Priestess, or Warrior). You have free reign over weapons, and armor, but nothing too.... odd, or doesn't seem right for a graduate. Each of you somehow found eachother, learning that you share a common view that the way the Drow do things is just wrong. After 5 years of knowing each other, you've all decided to escape the city of your race, trying to find a way to the surface world.
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules
Char'aghar of House Fre'ath walked down the streets of Eryndlyn, looking over his shoulder every now and again. His name meant "Venomed Death", and he was told since he was a child, that he would die that way. His house name ment "Friends of the Dragons" but he had never seen, or heard of his family talking about any dragons before.
Char'aghar turned a corner, and stopped at a seemingly blank wall. Touching a head from one of his arrows against the wall, a hidden panel slid out of view, showing a secret door. He took a step in and the wall slid back into place, showing no hint of the door unless you knew it was there.
As he sat down, he sighed outloud, and placed his bow and arrows on the floor next to him. He had just been told that no more patrols would be needed for the rest of today, and now he waited for the rest of the group that he had become a part of to come to their meeting place.
[[Now, to open the door, all you need to do is touch a hidden panel on the wall where Char'aghar came in with one of your weapons. If you wish to have a Drow name such as mine, the site I got it from is here http://drowcampaign.roleplaynexus.com/drowlanguage.html but you don't have to roll dice. Just pick ones you like]]
She slipped on a pale but dark dress, and had her servants tie it behind her. She grabbed a long black staff, that glowed dimmly with a dark purple essence. Tal'dar was her name, and she belonged in the House of Arabghym, meaning the Daughters of the Forgotten Ways. Her own name, meant "Wounded voice" for she did not speak much, afraid of anything that could appear from the words she spoke.
She walked outside of her house, and past the patrol ladies, to the barely crowded streets. She watched as the passing men bowed their heads to her, and she just smirked slightly back at them. She came to a short alley, and walked to the ending wall. She placed the tip of the sharp staff to the plain stone wall and walked back one step.
The wall slid open to reveil the same hidden door. She looked behind her to see that she was alone, and opened the door and walked inside, the wall closing itself.
She approached Char'aghar and waited behind him in front of the door. She contained a blank expression on her face as she stared down at him.
As it joins one point to another, That which my finger, drawing lines, traces
Is the road by which I came, or, perhaps, my destination.
The two who tie one line to another; In the end, since everyone finds his way to the sea, I'm not afraid, yet...
Hey man! Look at me rockin' out,
I'm on the radiooooooo.
Char'aghar watched as the hidden panel slid open, tensing slightly thinking that someone had found their hideout. When he saw that it was Tal'dar, he relaxed, standing up and bowing.
"Well met this day Mistress Tal'dar." He said, unconsciously stopping himself from looking at her eyes. It was the way he was raised, and it happened more when he was around members of houses that were higher than his own. House Fre'ath was the eighth house, the third lowest one of noble houses. It didn't help that Tal'dar was a female, ranked above males automatically from birth.
(Which position is mine???)
Tal'dar smiled lightly as she bowed her head slightly back at him. With slender and painful eyes, she looked back at him. "The same to you." She said with a smooth but quiet voice. She silenced herself then, walking to Char'aghar's side, bending down to set her staff in front of her, and then sitting on her knees, and looking down.
(It's up to you ^_^)
Char'aghar nodded, knowing that she didn't speak much. He sat back down, cross-legged on the floor next to her, his bow across his lap in meditation. His quiver was now leaning against a wall, but he had other means of defense...
Tal'dar sat silently, looking at the soft mat before her. She belonged to the fourth House, and was therefore highly respected. She didn't mind being in a high house, nor even if she was in a lower ranked, they all seemed pointless in where she stayed.
Tal'dar breathed deeply and closed her eyes as she continued to keep her head to the ground. She remained quiet, as if, no one could hear or see that she was right in front of them.
