I'm one of the few people who actually liked Lauren. Anyway, being an insomniac, a few nights ago I got to thinking about how similar the two of them really are. It's almost like Lauren is the evil version of Sydney. Here is some of my evidence:
Both have an evil mother and a good father. Lauren was more influenced by her mother, so she went evil, and Sydney only really had her father, and stayed good.
Both are really good at their jobs and have both been double agents. Sydney with the CIA/SD6 and Lauren with the Covenant/CIA. And Sydney also betrayed the Covenant and SD6 just as Lauren betrayed the CIA.
Both have loved Vaughn/Sark. Sydney didn't love Sark, but they did have moments together (when she was pretending to be Lauren, for example) and she loved/married Vaughn. Lauren married Vaughn and wanted to love him, but cheated on him with Sark who she loved.
They've both impersonated each other and were both great at it, which could be because of their similarities.
Lauren did also have a good side as could be seen in various situations, such as when Sydney was been tortured. It had not yet been revealed she was covenant, but you could tell she was genuinly concerned.
Sydney has brown hair, Lauren blonde. Good vs evil (yes the blondes are evil! j/k I don't hate blondes)
Seriously, its like Lauren was her evil twin.
If I can think of some more evidence I will add it.
I know most of you hate Lauren but she couldn't really help turning evil with a mother like hers.
Anyway, Do you see my point? Can you think of anything else? Do you agree/disagree?
