I have some trouble with time management, and I'm wondering if my problem is even the least bit normal of if I need psychiatric help.
See, the way it is is, I'll generally find out that I have to do something, such as homework or I have an appointment. I often forget things and get them done at the last minute, but it seems like the only other thing I do is obsess over something and think that a 30-minute assignment is going to take hours and worry about it all day and then, when it's finished, get a feeling like I haven't done enough even though I've probably already gone beyond what was assigned.
I guess my problem isn't time management, necessarily, but worry that I might forget something and actually miss it the next day, or that I'll schedule or plan something on top of something and have to not do one of the two, or other such things; or else worry that that worry will give me a meltdown.

So...any opinions, comments, etc?

a pocket agenda would be a great idea,
so does a watch wink

combine them both and profit!

I agree with Sieu, try managing everything as soon as you recieve it. An agenda, a small calendar, sticky notes even. Also, try not to make such a big deal out of something insignificant. If something has a planned time that's needed to be gotten done, give yourself the right ammount of preperation you find suited for completing it.

It's not something you need special help with. I for one am horrible with the date. Number and name, I never know what day it is. Once or twice it has gotten as bad as mistaking the month(within 1-2 month period; I'd know that it couldn't be something like April when it's November). That my friend is a result of working off of sheer will-power and not caring much for living. 4laugh

You've simply been embedded with the mindset the public school system wants you to have.
Don't worry about it, when you move on to college things will be better.
