Several years have passed and the time skip indicated a few things. Naruto made Hokage after Tsunade, and Sasuke came back to the village. Sakura was thrilled when she learned he liked her, but had other feelings for a certain ninja... For now no love triangles have bloomed but they could be on the verge.

Konoha was instated into a third world war, and though the fire nation is in a time of peace now, it wont be like this for long. The army is approaching Konoha from the north and south, so they are preparing an offensive but they lacked the ninja, until the few who stood out in the gennin academy stepped forward. As Naruto plans a war strategy that will minimize casualties and maximize their victory. The Fate of Konoha rests upon the decisions and alliances of the gennin training. Though some may sway to the dark side, others will stay true to Konoha and their victory can be most sweet. But he is also planning for the negative side of it... Just in case. Naruto also hopes a promising heir to the Hokage thrown can emerge and take his place if needed.

Damn it. Kanna cursed to herself, as she limped down the narrow pathway. She was bleeding profusely from several gashes all over her body. There was also a very noticeable slash down the right side of her; from her underarm all the way down to her knee. She was beaten up worse than ever, and she knew it. She closed her eyes because of the pain, tripped over a tree root, and fell helplessly to the ground, as memories from her previous mission came over her.

~Flashback~
"Kanna, your next mission may be the hardest you've ever been assigned to, but I'm sure you will be able to pull it off."
Kanna looked stupidly at the man before her. She had known him since her 13th birthday when he found her huddled under a bridge in the middle of January. When she first saw him, she was scared to death. But what young girl wouldn't be? The man had jet-black hair, and a large scar down the right side of his face; probably from a battle. His normal outfit usually consisted of a black cloak that was undone, with no shirt underneath, and black leather pants. He stood 6'4", and was very well-bulit, with a defined chest. He also carried a very large sword on his back. She knew not to cross him, as she had seen what he could do with that sword. She shuddered, remembering what had happened to his adopted son when he had betrayed him.
"The Tsuchikage of Iwagakure has promised me a very large sum if this mission be done quickly and correctly. And I expect it to be done exactly that way. You are to travel to Iwa, and assasinate the Tsuchikage's oldest son, Keitaro. He is 15 and a failure. His younger brother, Takai, is much more fit for the position of the village leader when the Kage passes." He stated, handing his student her katana.
"Hai(1), Danna(2)." Kanna nodded. "I will do as you ask."
The man patted her on the head. "Now go."

A day later, Kanna arrived at Iwa. My old village. she thought to herself. She quickly made her way to the Tsuchikage house, which his son still lived. The door was convieniently unlocked. She walked through the house as quickly and as quietly as she could. She stopped when she found a bedroom. She peeked her head inside, and saw many ninja weapons. This must be Keitaro's room. Piece of cake. She smirked. She darted in the room, over to the bed where a sleeping figure lay tucked under the covers. A sadistic smile came over her face as she raised her katana, and thrust it right into the chest of the sleeping boy. An ear-piercing scream filled the air. And then there was silence. Too easy. Just then, she heard running in the hallway. She turned to look towards the doorway, as her eyes widened in horror. There, standing in the doorway, was a tall boy, about 15 years of age. Kanna then quickly jerked her head back towards the bed, where the unmoving figure lie, still hidden under the covers. With shaky hands, she removed the blankets to reveal the sleeping form of a young boy.
"T...T-Tak.. Takai! You killed my little brother! YOU MONSTER!" Keitaro screamed.
Oh no. No no no. No, I didn't. I didn't... Kanna gasped.
"FATHER!" Keitaro screamed, as he fell to the floor crying.
The Tsuchikage came running towards the sound of his hysteric son. He paused when he say Kanna standing over his prize possession: Takai. He then studdied the scene more closley, and then his mouth gaped open. She was standing over Takai with a sharp katana. The katana and the bed sheets were both covered in blood, and Takai wasn't moving.
"Takai..." He whispered, as he walked over to his son's lifeless body. He picked him up and checked for a pulse. There wasn't one. He carefully laid him back down, and turned to Kanna as his eyes grew cold. He raised his right hand, and slapped her so hard in the face, she was sent flying across the room. "GAURDS!" The Tsuchikage yelled. Seconds later, three of the Kage's gaurds walked into the room. The Kage then pointed to Kana, who was laying on the ground, stunned. "I want her dead." The three gaurds walked towards her slowly. Damn it. I can't believe this is happening... She then closed her eyes. Then they started attacking. She felt so much pain, she was sure she would pass out. But she wouldn't let herself do that. She started struggling, trying to get away. She then cried out as she felt a splitting pain in her right side. Then she stopped struggling. A few minutes later, attacks stopped. Just as quickly as they had began, they stopped.
"She's dead, Tsuchikage-sempai(3)." She heard someone announce.
She then felt herself being lifted off the ground, and carried. Then she felt the ground again, as she was carelessly thrown away. She opened her eyes slightly, and noticed that she was lying at the front gates of Iwagakure. They think that I'm dead... Kanna smirked, as she proceeded to get up off the ground. Then screamed in pain and fell back down. It hurt so much, she couldn't bear it. But she pushed through the excruciating pain, and stood. It was then that she noticed how much blood she was loosing. She took off her gloves and tied them securely around her torso, trying to apply pressure to the large gash in her side. She looked ahead at the forest, and started her trek back to Konohagakure.
~End Flashback~

She opened her eyes, and stood once again. She was in so much pain... She looked down at the ground, and saw a puddle of her own blood. If I don't find a medic soon... she thought to herself, I'm going to die from loss of blood. Then she saw something in the distance. It looked like... A tent? A gleam of hope flashed in her eyes, as she started walking as quickly as her body let her towards the tent. "I-is.. anyone... ov-over... th-there?" she tried to yell, but it was too hard to even talk. It came out as more of a whisper. Then her legs game out on her... again. She couldn't take it any longer. The pain was too terrible. And, the last thing she saw before fainting, was a girl far off in the distance. A girl with green hair.

Mitsuso watched Kichiga closely as she walked towards where they were going to be training. She seemed to be the type of person who always caught the light in a perfect sort of way. Kichiga had a very charismatic personality mixed with a pretty hot body, and cute face. But it wasn't her attractiveness that drew Mitsuso to her, though he fancied her, it was more that she reminded him of his sister sometimes.

~flashback~

A small, scrawny and kind of scared looking boy walked slowly down the road towards his first day as a gennin. "Please, O-nee-chan, don't make me go..." Followed by his older sister Ryio, she laughed and smiled. "You'll do fine. Have a good day Mitsuso..." He almost cried as he let her hand go. He went in and had the worst day of his life. He had no training like his sister had, and unlike her, he had a desire to succeed in areas that specify taijutsu. On his way home he saw her talking to 3 other men who were in weird robes. When he approached her she quickly stepped in front of him and ordered him into the house. obeying he walked in and waited for his father to come home.


His sister routinely would stay late on missions and get home way beyond her arrival time. Sometimes she was gone for days and days. When Mitsuso had turned 13, she bought him a sword. It was beautiful, and on it the words: With love, Ryio. For some this present was dumb, but to him, it was the best thing in the world. Later when she was teaching him how to use it properly, he realized it unfolded into a metal fan. Thats when he started training under Temari-Sensei. This alone pushed him to start to do better in the ninjutsu areas.

But one night, when he awoke for some water, as he was approaching the kitchen, his sister was being carried off by 2 men. She was screaming and reaching for him, doing what he thought was right, he swung his fan and a big gust of wind towards them, but it was too late. The obviously better trained Shinobi had already stabbed him and left. He saw his sister and vowed he would never give up looking for her.

A few weeks later, he met Kichiga in Sand village and she immediately reminded him of his sister. Following her and training under her directly, he was able t gain the power he has now. And he plans to use his power to find and kill the murderers of his family, and hopefully return his be-loved sister.

Getting ready to leave on his lead, Mitsuso is going to train and deploy to see if he can't find a lead on where his older sister had been taken. Though he didn't know the headbands the ninjas wore, he had managed to get a kunai etched with some strange symbol. Hoping that will lead him to her whereabouts, Mitsuso will train and hopefully find her someday.

Lynne looked around the town, she was sitting on a building roof finishing polishing her dread doll, 'Rosabel'. Her doll was smaller than Kankuro's, but it was a prized possession of Lynne's family...at least her dead family. 'Hey, Rosabel...you know this town better than me, tell me where that ramen place is...!' The 'Rosabel' just sat there in Lynne's lap.

Lynne ran to where Mitsuso was and ran into him, which knocked her over. And it didn't help that her coffin was on her back, that made her defenceless as a turtle on it's back. 'Oops! My bad....' she paused, not knowing his name.

Lynne hesitated when grabbing his hand. 'How do I know you're not an enemy?' Her auntie was very, well...to put in simple words....Lynne thought she was crazy. Her auntie came up with excuses like; 'Don't go outside! Something like a hawk will attack you!' Lynne sighed. 'Never mind sorry, I'm just being rude here...' She grabbed Mitsuso's hand. 'But anyway, why are you out here in the dark?'
