It was probably inevitable, given the large number of vampire fan groups on Gaia. Now that it's here, what do people think of it? The skins? The type of vampire currently invading Gaia? Personally, I'm a little disappointed that they went for the most stock portrayal of vampires they could find, but I guess if they used anything too exotic most people wouldn't recognize it.

But vampires, the way they are so commonly portrayed, are the things the best dreams are made of.
They're the epitome of dark grace.

It is a shame that they had to use such a basic form of vampire. But I suppose they wanted something everyone could understand. And vampires are pretty cool no matter what kind they are. The skins are spiffy, but lots of clothing look sort of awkward on them.

I agree, they could've gone with a more exotic vampire... And, unfortunately, it seems like these vampires don't share the full weaknesses that they should...
But I like the skins. They're nifty.

It's because the vamp skins are so scrawny, that's why all the clothes fit weird.
....But you all knew that already. stare

What about Anne Rice's vampires?
Aside from the fact that she's the single most awsome writer on the face of this earth.... ...I like her take on vampires the best, not matter how generic it may be.

I've never read Anne Rice, although I know that she's probably the number one reason the modern vampire is "the epitome of dark grace."
Ah, well. It's not like the beautiful vampire is totally unfounded in myth. And using a more mindless vampire model would encroach on the grombies' territory.
