So what did you guys do for Halloween?!

I got my permanent retainers on! There like braces but only wires and there place on the inside of my teeth. Arn't I lucky. Now I have to be extremely careful eating regular food!

Every year we hardly get any trick or treaters. It's sad I remember when my streets were practically flooded with kids!
And is it just more or is Halloween going from Super Scary to scanky now? so many skirts were practically naked at school.

I did nothing, but attend class. I didn't dress up or anything. I was surprised that more people at my college didn't dress up, since most people here are here for the Hartt preforming arts school or the Hartford Art School, but guess not.

(The bookstore had a display of a dummy hanging by the neck with fake blood, but that was mopped up and the display gone in the afternoon. So I think the University was cracking down on people who were dressing up. I wouldn't know since I'm a silly little freshman. xD )

I got a detention for coming to school dressed like the Unabomber then I went to my dad's apartment and watched the horrible detective shows that my dad's girlfriend records on tivo.

Planet - Like I said, it gets lesser and lesser each year.

Fenky - That sucks, I wonder if the guys at my school got in trouble? But it was great.

I saw some costumes that I wish guys would wear more often. (Perverted sense, sorry. xD)
But I'm actually surprised people dressed up this year. We saw two guys dressed up as Ketchup and Mustard, I was like all they need was a packet of Relish. We had a lot of pirates and bees, this year, yes bees. When my friends came to school and saw that they went to their makeup kit and made themselves dead bees. It was funny.

Yeah, but people that where here at my school last year and so on said that people everywhere were dressed up. Which is why I think there was a crack down. Either that or people no longer give a s**t about Ye ol' Old Hallows Eve. =,D

Halloween's an old fad. Aztec sacrfices are making a huge comeback though!

But I seriously think people care less and less about halloween. My school put more effort into celebrating the Day of the Dead than they did with Halloween. My art class watched an episode of the Twilight Zone on like october 27th. That's the most my school did for halloween. Not even like orange cookies at lunch or anything but god forbid we skip watching 3 hours worth of movies on how to make sugar skulls and painting tombstones to celebrate some guys who died fifty years ago in another country!

Funny, I broke my permanent retainer on a carmel apple on halloween.
I didn't really do much for halloween, since I was sick and busy with school work.

People here are way too liberal for their own good. That should mean that people should be able to dress up of they want. They think that by acceoting everyones religions no one can celebrate anything anymore... Kids arent allowed to dress up at schools because there are really witches and so they feel that by celebrating Halloween its insulting to them.

I was surprised though because there were a few people who dressed up at UVic. The most memorable one was Facebook rofl

Other then that though we did nothing and only had two trick or treaters and one of the groups were university students asking for food donations (too lazy to go out shopping eh?) I expected a lot more then that because there is a middle school just across the street from our house and a high school two blocks to the left.

Also didnt do anything since exams were either the 31st or the 1st.
