Oh man oh man oh man....
I just got the first game and played through the whole thing! Or, at least what I thought was the whole thing. As soon as the credits end...HOLD IT!!! Chapter 5 has been added.
Me: O.O!!! 5!?
I had played Justice for All before this game, so I went and beat it first, then got the first game. And I must say, that Edgeworth case was really intense...I mean...like Advent Children intense. I was staring at my Screen from only a few centimeters away the whole time.
Now, this brings me to my question. Is the fifth case any more intense or twisted than with the Edgey case?

Oooh, so I'm not the only one who was like "OMG WHUT? 5?! Liek, impossible!"
Hahaha, I played Justice for All and Trials and Tribulations before the first. I was sooooo mad at Manfred. Forced me to find contradictions with the statements as is and nothing else added. I smiled in joy when he started banging his head [on the wall].
I wouldn't know about case 5 yet, since I haven't played it. Which was kinda the point of this entire thread sweatdrop

OKAY! I JUST PLAYED IT! It was so twisted! I had to refer to a walkthrough like...7 times to finish it. I would have liked it if Former Detective Starr was still on the force. She seems cool! Elegantly dangerous! RAWR!

If CH 4 was like Advent Children (as weird an analogy as that is), CH 5 was like Fullmetal Alchemist: Government corruption.

Why were you so surprised about it not being the end if you'd played the other games first?
the game is only over when the credits roll through.
I liked Case Five. Lots of DS-unique features, like the whole forensics thing with Ema.
