Yes, the song Mother is on there. It wasn't performed by Danzig, but people that try and sound like them.

I Freaked out when I found out Danzig was on it because I havent heard the band in a long time. (Mind you,that was quite some time ago)
but I absolutely despise the vocals on the game. confused

gotta agree here! it's possibly the worst version of any song on the whole game, so bad it's cringable. course, the originals ALWAYS better! smile

I play guitar, write and record my own stuff... so the whole concept of guitar hero is kinda embarrasing to me anyway wink still, for every 100 posers who becomes a fan from guitar hero, there's gotta be one genuine fan discovering metal for the first time ... warms the subcoccles of my heart smile

The Danzig cover in Guitar Hero II made me want to bang my head against a brick wall, man.
I had no idea that they ******** the vocals up so bad when I bought it. It was still fun, though.

I do find it rather pathetic when people start liking a song because of a video game...
Oh yeah, that same song is also on Grand Theft Auto: San Andres... (I don't know if I spelt that right)

Yeah, I have to agree the real version of Mother is so much better than the one on Guitar Hero II but when you haven't heard Danzig before and the Guitar Hero II version is the first song you've heard, you still get hooked.

I hate the cover on Guitar Hero let alone my disposition on Guitar Hero altogether. I'ma songwriter and Guitarist and the whole damn game made me sick, how everyone thought that they were instrumental geniuses after playing it really pissed me off..
