~Story~
A small fire crackled gently inside an old tavern. A small, frail man sits in one of the soft leather chairs that stood near the fireplace. Around his feet, sitting on the worn red rug, were six children. The old man seemed to be talking to them when one of the children, a girl who was no older than six, interrupted.
"Sir, is it true? Is there really an old mansion in the forest?" the girl asked, blushing in embarrassment for interupting. The man's face, warm and pleasant, suddenly hardened.
"Where did you hear of this?" the man snapped at the girl, causing her to flinch.
"M-My older b-brother," the girl trembled, her bottom lip starting to quiver. The old man softened.
"There, there. It's alright. Your brother was just trying to scare you."
The rest of the evening went by in peace as, one by one, the kids left with their parents. Finally, the old man was left alone in the dark chair. He was thinking deeply about what the girl had said. Indeed, there was a mansion in the forest, but the little ones had no need of the story.

--Ten years later--
The girl, now sixteen, had not forgotten about the old man's reaction when she asked her question about the mansion. Her brother had refused to talk about it further. The old man had long since passed away. She decided to find out for herself, to go into the forest and find that mansion. She and the other five children, now teenagers, that had been at the tavern decided to meet outside of the forest just after midnight.

o1. Humans may NOT be changed unless there is a dire need.
o2. Vampires cannot use there super speed while fighting because that really wouldn't be fair to us humans.
