This is Cassidy's room. It's fairly bright with flowing curtains that are normally drawn back. Silverleaf designed this room a while back for another one of their patients. It leads to the outside for companions or for a wandering person. It's rather breathtaking.

"Place him on the bed, I need to see just how extensive his injuries are," Silverleaf ordered of her brother.
Silversnow simply nodded, he didn't know much about healing except for the basic herbal remedies. He knew he wasn't going to be much help except for being used to transport the boy. He gently set him down onto the bed, and Skale flew to the headrest.

Very few of Cassidy's injuries were physical; his worst were the bruises he'd acquired in the fall from Citadel's back, and the not-quite-healed scar across his stomach and side. The most extensive injuries were purely psychological.

Silverleaf sighed, this was going to be hard, and she was so tired. She shook her head to clear her thoughts. She knew she couldn't ask much of Silversnow, he'd already told her where his talents lied. She placed her hands on the sides of his head and began to heal anything that she could mentally.
(I might be sending Rydan this way to help Cassidy out... he might have an appipheny (and yet another word I butchered >< lol))

What made the Healing even more difficult was the fact that Cassidy - even unconscious - fought it with everything he had. It threatened to pull him out of his imposed sleep; he stirred, lips pulling back from his teeth as a harsh hiss escaped his throat, fingers convulsively gripping the sheets beneath him.

"He will be troublesome," Silversnow told his sister.
"I don't think there's a way to calm him though. If you could hold him down, that would be very helpful," she said giving him a small smile. She then looked at her patient with a frown, this was going to be very hard to accomplish. She didn't even know the full amount of damage this boy had endured. She leaned forward as Silversnow held the boy's wrists in place with one hand, and his chest with the other. She then entered his mind again to do her best to find the cause of the problem.

((*Cackling*))
The deeper Silverleaf delved into Cassidy's mind, the more tightly his memories gripped her, forcing the images on her will she or nil she...
Blood... So much blood... It was everywhere. On his clothes, on the ground.. Spilling unchecked from his side... He couldn't feel the pain, yet, but he knew it would come soon. The broken handle of the axe slipped from nerveless fingers as his vision went gray, and he fell. From somewhere behind him, distantly, he heard a shout, and felt his limp body collapsing into strong, familiar arms. He sank into timelessness, and when he became aware again, he felt himself being carried. There were voices all around him, but he couldn't comprehend their words. Then, there was a creak of wood, and he was placed on something soft; his vision cleared for a moment, and the creased, baked face of the town Healer was there, hovering over him. Sight vanished with a lance of pain as something touched the wound - but then, the cool, soothing feel of Healing energy coursed through him, numbing the pain, and he relaxed, sinking toward the safety of unconsciousness. Then... There was a strange, sickening wrench - not physical, but somewhere.. inside - that flung him bodily into twisting oblivion...
The boy whimpered pitifully, twisting weakly against the grip that the siblings had on him. He was trying to escape - not them, but the memories...
There was the thirst. It wasn't much at first, just a nagging discomfort, but it grew worse and worse with each passing day. He couldn't sleep, couldn't eat, could barely think. On the fifth morning, everything vanished. For what seemed like an eternity, all there was was red. Then, a coppery taste, ever so sweet and exactly what he had been seeking. The relief was incredible. Slowly, he came back to himself; his eyes opened, and sick horror rushed through him. Lying pale and unmoving in his arms was his own brother, blood trickling from twin punctures in his neck. He could feel the warm liquid trickling down his chin; with a sob of mingled terror and grief, he bolted, blind to anything but his own fear and self-loathing. The grief and guilt would hit him later, when he was too tired to be afraid anymore...
Tears streamed from the corners of Cassidy's eyes, trickling down into his hairline. His face was contorted into an inhuman mask of grief and self-hate, testament to the inner turmoil Silverleaf was reviving in him.

(How sad... Rydan thinks he has the answer though!)
Silverleaf felt his agony, but only the idea of life and death for this poor boy kept her moving forward instead of breaking down and crying. She forced calming thoughts into his mind, it was almost all she could do. Whatever his problems were now, she could only assist him through them... she couldn't do the work for him.

(( as requested by Ashes, the angry Cit post; ))
Citadel had had enough of this. What were they doing to him!? He had thought that healers collegia would heal his chosen, not send him into more mental turmoil that Cass was already in! THe large stalion forced his eay into teh room, his hooves slamming onto teh ground, and a loud, paniced wicker sounded and he Nudged Silversnow with his head. Nudged him hard enough to almsot toss the hawkbrother off Cassidy. The companiones head stuck in teh other direction, pushing Silverleaf off of Cassidy aswell. Panic flared in his sapphire eyes and his voice sounded through teh room :: ENOUGH! I'LL HAVE YOU DO NO MORE! :: If he could have, he would have crawled onto the bed with Cassidy, and curled around him, but he could only hoover over him; and hope that no one fought him back.

Silversnow didn't even see the enraged horse enter, so when he was hurled back he was not prepared in the slightest. He felt something crack in his chest and winced in pain. Silverleaf, who was already injured from an earlier attempt of helping someone collapsed to the floor, exhaustion and wounds starting to take their toll.
At that moment, Rydan and Tiliff heard the comotion and decided to poke their heads in. Alas, they found the room they were after!
"Cassidy!" Tiliff said, running over and hoping that Citadel didn't kill him for coming.
"I think we may have a solution to the current situation," Rydan said to them all.
(Mean Cit scares me ><)

Freed of Silversnow and Silverleaf, Cassidy curled up into the tightest ball he could manage, fingernails digging into his own flesh. He was still trapped in the memory, salt tears soaking into the sheets and streaking across his face. Waves of grief and terror swirled around him, like some sort of poisonous cocoon.

Tiliff walked towards Cassidy, he no longer looked hyper and giddy, but almost.... serious.... "Wh-what am I s'posed to do, Papa?"
"Well... we're going to need to wake the boy up first. If you could move, Citadel," Rydan said talking to the companion directly. He then turned to Silverleaf, "I suppose you're the healer then? Wake the boy up."
Silverleaf blinked at the man. She didn't know why she was even listening to him, but she stood up and walked towards the frightful Citadel once more. "Ma-May I wake him up?" she asked him.

Citadel gave Cassidy a mental slap that would cause an enraged battle hound to yelp and flee with its tail between its leg; though he'd only ment for the assult to wake his chosen up from the deep sleep, and the entrapment of his memories. The companion glared /dagger/s at the sight of Tiliff and Rydan and nudged the little thief away with his massive head. :: NO MORE! :: he 'shouted' in both silverleaf, Ry and Tiliff's direction and nuzzled Cassidy with his nose, a light, barely audiable wicker escaped him.
