The road not taken SG1 season 10 episode 14
I thought this episode was really insightful to what could happen if the ori decided to take a stroll to earth and they didn't have any power to use on the chair in Antarctica. I think it would be one pretty screwed up world though if martial law was put into affect. Sucks that Mitchell's legs got hurt bad though.

It's not that they were hurt, because they were in both realities. It's that he didn't get rehabilitated properly.
Yeah, this episode was really a great commentary on America's political climate and what it could escalate to. That's where sci-fi works the best: politics.

actually i believe the correct term is not rehabilitated all the way. they did it with him for some time then screwed him over hurt him again and left him in the dust.

i think Mitchell's leg was the least of their worries in that screwed up reality

It was only because he spoke out against the government. The phrase "dropped like a rock" is only a metaphor.

Yeah, it's a cliche.
Mitchell told our Sam that the military "dropped him like a rock" when he spoke out against the government's choke-hold on the people. He meant that they cut off his therapy.
