Now that I know what tattoos I want and what I will love forever. They represent things I've loved my entire life and with such a passion that I know that I'll never NOT love them. Music and horses, right. So. I've decided to get two tatts, one for each.

I'm designing them myself, of course, and I was just wondering (because I've never had tattoo experience before) what questions I should ask when I go into a tatt place to make sure that they know what they're talking about, and all of that fun stuff. I have about 500 bucks saved up for these suckers because they're both fairly small and monotoned, so I know I should be good for it.

And then I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions towards my designs, anything that would make them unattainable and such.

opinions?

OH also, I'm an artist and so (obviously) a perfectionist. How can I be sure that my designs are going to transfer right onto my body? What happens if they botch it, do I get some odd discount, and can someone else fix it-ish?

I have no experience with tattoos what-so-ever, but with their simiplicity, I think they're transfer onto skin easy =] Also, they are awesome designs.

I think both will transfer really well into tattoos, only you might have to get the horse a bit larger than you had originally planned. And both designs are awesome, btw!

As far as tattoo shop info, just ask to see portfolios of the tattoo artists first. You want to make sure to see any photographs of the tattoos they've done if possible. That way you can judge how artistically inclined they are. You're also going to want to look around for clues that it's a professional place and that they have good sanitary procedures.

That's alright. I planned it to be quite large and drew the design with a thin Sharpie... it's a pretty to-scale drawing lol
