King Varren sat in his throne, boredom obviously on his face. It was an average day at court and nothing was worth much noticing. He turned inward and began to think about all that has happened lately.

Queen Fern was smiling and listening to the nobles in front of her explain their dispute. At a pause in the explanation she glanced at her husband and knew from his expression that he had turned inward again.

After her husband made the decisions she thanked everyone in the group for coming and wished them well. Once they moved off she welcomed the next group that was announced.

Fern mentally rolled her eyes. For being so bright her hubby could be awfully tense.

Fern's eyes went wide at Ellena's message.
::I'll be right there - palace doors::
Fern stood up w/her husband and the pair quickly headed for the main palace doors where the two Companions were awaiting them. Quickly Fern vaulted on Ellena which was rather impressive since she was in a full skirt. Without waiting to see if her husband was ready she urged Ellena forward to Healers.

Varren jumped niftly onto the back of the unsachelled Cajon. He then forced him into a gallop to get their quickly. From the message, this was bad!

"I don't think they're here yet, little one," Shahi said looking at the empty dias. "I'm sure they'll be back soon, though." She gave Ambrosia a smile, hoping that she'd be alright with that.
