Have an idea for the guild? Put it down and it will be considered! Feel free to discuss things too. Don't be afraid to say something if you feel it's needed. heart

I've got an idea.
More specialized subforums. Places to put certain rp's.
IE: Romance Action Slave/Master School Fantasy
Just a suggestion. And a thiny veiled attempt at sucking up to the guild leader. Brownie Points!

Just a suggestion. And a thiny veiled attempt at sucking up to the guild leader. Brownie Points! Those will come, sooner or later. But since the guild isn't that active, and there are that many members (yet) it won't been extremely soon. I have thought of that as well. xD heart

That would be a pretty good idea actually. For instance, you could have people post as much as they can with relative responses to roleplays and OOC. And whoever reaches a certain number of posts can reach a set amount of gold that is not exactly difficult to earn, but enough to keep them going.

Events would be nice. How about a Yule Ball? It doesn't have to be like the one in the Harry Potter books but a ball in general and there can be a plot behind it. Maybe a Harry Potter one wouldn't be so bad as long as no one is rping a character from the books but is just a student of any year attending and dancing with their partners.
Okay, so it's a little boring right now. But! Every cloud has a silver lining.

More variety, did I spell that right? All most every thing in here is either "Romance" or "Highschool" and the odd "Vampire" Of the five RPs I've found in here, I've joined three, and one of them isn't even started because we need a specific person

That really sucks... more original lots is something the authors need to do. They all follow the same line of though here.

... but there's the problem, when people make Original RPs some people don't join, and one on one's aren't all that fun, so the stick with a romance. For instance, I've made a War RP but only four people have joined, including me. not to mention those who stop RPing for various reasons.

But the fact is. Originality is what catches interest and keeps an RP going. If it simply just says:
"Once there was a coven of vampire who had turned away from drinking hman blood and decided to live among humans. This is their story."
That is something I might glance at... but in the end, turn it down.

Original story works. I do those quite often. I also do rather strange and original ones. Tomorrow I'll be opening it up, and it is basically a trial run through. I don't expect it to do too well.. most people shun my ideas that are original. But they are really fun.

As long as we're talking about more original role plays, what I'd like to see is something where there are already relationships established. Yeah, okay, it's cool when you join an rp and your character makes friends and enemies and whatnot, but how about something where all the characters are required to have some kind of history with the other characters other than, "they were classmates," or something similar.
Actually, Takiama-Chan and I attempted to make a role play like that, but since we based it around a selection of about 20 premades (rather than letting people just make their own profiles, since we knew we'd just get a bunch of loners) people in Barton Town didn't really join in and it ended up being just two or three people RPing when the whole idea was that there would be lots of people with vivid opinions of each other, and it flopped.

That is better than nothing though. You got some response, therefore it wasn't a total waste of time typing it up.
