There is nothing I have seen so far about the Bit Beast. Yeah they are part of the blade but has anyone considered what it's like? I've decided to do a roleplay for bit beast only. I'm not sure how this will turn out, but it's just for fun.

There are basic "realms" for different elements: the fire realm, water, sky kingdom etc. There are also a wide range of terrain to suit all types of bit Beasts. The whole spirit realm are rules by 4 benevolent kings- A.K.A the four sacred bit beast.
Notable areas: Cat Kingdom (cat type bit beast reside here like Glaux), Neo village (where all the baby bit beast are formed), Erstaz (where artificially created bitbeats like Wolborg and Cyber Dranzer reside), and finally the void- this is where the criminal and "evil" bitbeast are condemned to.

Name of BB: Suou/ Shadow
Type of Bit beast: Black Nekomata (Two Tailed Cat Demon). She has Silver armour and an ice blue gem on her chest plate
Powers: Just like Chinese and Japanese legends, Suou is able to reanimate corpses. She could even possess corpses in the real world, which make her able to experience life in the human realm until the host rots. Of course when possessing something, it speeds up the deterioration process. Shadow has mastered the art of ice manipulation. She also can heal slight injuries.
Area where they live: In hiding, Erstaz
Personality: Suou was at one point motherly...until the incident. Now a days she tends to bite off the hand that feeds her. She believes comforting someone is using her stinging sarcasm on them, but do not despair. Suou may have a hard time trusting, but if she does she's loyal and caring. Suou know who are her true friends and how to treat them right.
Human partner: Raine Takara, someone who came from a long line of priestesses. She may have the power to help Suou achieve her ultimate goal. She's frigile at times, which is good thing Suou knows how to heal.
Why they chose their human partner: Suou was attracted to the ammout of pain within Raine's heart, and to make things worse. Though she tried to provoke anger in Raine, her deeply religious beliefs kept her temper in check. Raine soon found of Shadow's tragic past and comforted her, causing Suou to remember what it was like to be cared for. From then on Suou has helped Raine in any ways possible.
History: Suou was born in neo village but soon left to join the rest of her family in the cat kingdom. Suou's mother was one of the royal advisers to the young lord Byyako (Drigger) who would someday rule the kingdom when he matured. Suou, Galux, Galeon and Drigger used to play in the royal gardens together as kids, and she soon developed an infatuation of Drigger.
Suou's father however was mysteriously corrupted by some outside force and became a dark bit beast. He tried to assatinate Drigger and was imprisoned. Suou would visit her father everyday from then on. One day it was found that someone helped her father escape, so the blame was naturally placed on Suou. She knew who really did it, but won't snich for the sake of Galux's friendship, but when she tried to talk to Drigger for help, her placed a bounty on her head. This made her go into hiding in the newly created Erstaz and adopting the name Shadow

Name of BB: Akayu

Type of Bit beast: Akayu is a nine-tailed fox, ghostly red in color and with eerie pale golden eyes. (Is this what you meant by type? ^^; )

Powers: As a embodiment of the fox of Japanese myth said to be the cause of the occurence known as 'kitsunebi' - foxfire - Akayu is associated with flame and all its qualities. She can start and stop any blaze save for the very strongest, and what she lacks in brute strength, she makes up for in agility and intelligence. She can also create illusions that last for anywhere up to 10 minutes.

Area where they live: Fire Realm

Personality: Akayu is one of the more silent bit beasts, conversing only with chosen associates and with her human partner. She doesn't like being in the spotlight, preferring to work behind-the-scenes in order not to be noticed.

However, she likes a challenge and most often will not back down from a fight. This is her one true weakness, though: to her, all battles are crucial and must be won; this sometimes results in a predictable plan of attack which may then lead to her defeat - and subsequent anger and frustration with herself. She hates losing, but is smart enough to learn from her mistakes.

Unlike the nine-tailed fox of myth, however, Akayu is an empathic sort, able to tap into the feelings of others and so understand them, particularly with her human partner. This makes her a little sensitive when it comes to her friends - though there are few of them - and their feelings. If a fellow bit beast who is her friend is hurt or insulted, Akayu takes it as a personal offense and starts bearing a grudge against the cause of the hurt.

Human partner: Keiko Hiyomura, a 15-year-old junior high student in Tokyo. Where Akayu is scarlet and gold, Kei - Kei to her friends and family - is ebony and amethyst: her dark blue-black hair frames her delicately-rounded face with the deep purple eyes, and emphasizes her pale, almost transluscent white skin. Though not as trim as her peers, Keiko possesses very quick reflexes and is surprisingly agile, and performs well in her studies, hence her kinship with the fox bit beast.

Why they chose their human partner: For Keiko, it was that feeling of having known the Akayu before she first laid eyes on the nine-tailed fox. Akayu, at first, became Keiko's partner out of gratitude for partially freeing her from her 'prison', and to gain enough knowledge to regain her corporeal body. Over time, though, the two grew quite close and now neither needs a reason for becoming partners.

History: Akayu was actually among the nine-tailed foxes of myth, running free around the Japanese countryside, visiting villages, temples, and wherever else she fancied. One ambitious shaman, seeking to empower himself, performed a ritual that trapped the fox in a stone. However, such was Akayu's anger that the shaman died a violent death without once getting to use the fox's powers for his personal gain.

Soon after this, bandits broke into the shaman's home and saw the stone with strange writing engraved on it. Recognizing it to be an artifact of great value, sought to steal it. The fox then fooled the bandits into thinking a grotesque monster - an amalgamation of the most horrid creatures in Japanese stories - was after them for breaking into the home of a 'holy man'. The bandits fled, leaving the stone behind.

Neither the shaman nor the bandits knew that the stone that held Akayu's 'spirit essence' was actually an opal. In time, this enchanted stone was brought to a jeweller, who then cut and polished the stone to fit into an amulet. Akayu sensed a human being and attempted to make her presence known, to no avail.

Perhaps it was no accident that the person to whom that amulet belonged was Keiko's great-great-great-great-grandmother, and that it had become some sort of heirloom in the family, passed on from mother to daughter. And so it was that when Keiko's mother gave her the amulet, Akayu's attempts to reveal herself, though in spirit form, finally succeeded, and Keiko realized that her new necklace was 'special'. Following the fox's instructions, she broke the stone, but alas, Akayu's body had long turned to dust and returned to the earth. Knowing she would not last long in such a condition, the ghostly red fox searched for another place in which to take residence, as with the breaking of the stone, the spell keeping her bound to the stone also broke. She spotted the Beyblade nearby on Keiko's desk, and entered into it. Thus was the beginning of their partnership; thus is the story of Akayu's journey from selfishness to friendship.

Name of BB: Ren

Type of Bit Beast: Ren - a good-sized snake bit beast, pale blue in color. His eyes are a creepy pale silver color, which tends to make one think that he isn't looking at them but through them. A hard, metallic-looking headdress protects his head from injury, and the upper half of his body is covered with dangerous ice spikes that he can retract and unsheathe at will, depending on the situation.

Powers: Ren is an ice-based bit beast. His abilities include freezing various objects, creating ice barriers, icicle weapons, and low-strength blizzards. Occasionally, he will also create hailstorms, but these are rare.

Area where they live: Ren divides his time between the Ice Realm and the Neo village, where he spends time mentoring his adoptive sister Kozue.

Personality: He's a no-frills guy who likes to keep things as simple as possible, whenever possible. He sees no need for elaborate plans when trying to defeat someone; he just gets out there and does it to the best of his abilities. Never mind that his style of 'play' is pretty much 50-50 for him and his opponent, as long as he doesn't have to rely too much on a gameplan. Ren also isn't too keen on the idea that his sister is becoming friends with a fire bit beast, and doesn't hide his disapproval, to Kozue's disdain.

Human partner: Ren once had a human partner, named Shinji, but as of late, there has been no news on this 'partnership'

Why they chose their human partner: Almost no one knows how Ren got paired with a human at a relatively young age, but some have speculated that it was because Ren was descended from an heirloom bit beast, those that are handed down through different generations. There is a point, of course, that the bit beast changes or 'retires', such that the one next in line - be it son or daughter - is the one paired with the heir to the family line. It just so happened that this time, it was Ren who was inherited and not his father.

History: No one knows for sure what happened, but some have been told that Ren was found just inside the border of the Ice Realm, half-conscious. He was taken in, of course, and as soon as he was well enough, began to train. It was obvious that Ren was no stranger to training, leading his elders to suspect he'd been partnered with a human and that they had trained together; something just happened to... separate the two, but when questioned about it, Ren clammed up and didn't say anything.

While out on an excursion, Ren came across the Neo Village, and saw the young Kozue. Something drew him to her, and having no family of his own, adopted her as a sister. It was fitting, somehow, as both were snake bit beasts and held within them the twinned abilities of ice (Ren) and water (Kozue).

Name of BB: Kozue
Type of Bit beast: Kozue is a fairly small, serpent-like bit beast whose body coloring ranges from white to aquamarine. Her eyes are steel blue and she has something of a half-formed silver crown on her head, with a sapphire embedded in it. Her body armor hasn't appeared as of yet.

Powers: As a young water-based bit beast, Kozue has fairly few abilities, most notable of all being able to control the tide, though only partially. But, with time, she'll be able to create strong, huge waves, whirlpools, and the like.

Area where they live: Neo village

Personality: Kozue is a friendly sort, open and relatively innocent. Don't be fooled, though; she may be mostly passive, but once she reaches her breaking point, those who've crossed her may have to run and hide! Being a young bit beast, she doesn't have that much control over her powers, so if she loses control of her emotions, what little control over her abilities also disappears into thin air, so there's a lot of probability for damage - to her surroundings and to whoever it was that set her off in the first place.

Human partner: n/a

Why they chose their human partner: n/a

History: Kozue is one of the relatively recently-born bit beasts. She doesn't have a lot of history with the others, save for her adoptive older brother Ren. She also has what looks to be a budding friendship with Akayu, a fire bit beast much older than her and already partnered with a human.

That's one thing Kozue looks forward to: having a human partner. Whenever she asks someone she knows has a partner how it feels, she gets mixed answers - some positive, some negative, and some neutral - but she hasn't let it stop her from wanting to be paired with a human.

She's also a helpful sort, and won't really hesitate to lend a hand if needed. The problem is, she doesn't quite give much thought to the consequences of her actions, which lead to sticky situations which her brother or Akayu have to help her get out of.

*another sunrise another day wasted* Shadow woke up in the dim muggy cave deep in the heart of erstaz. She growled in disdain as she breathed in the putrid air. *Ugh, if it weren't for that little accident I would be home with all my other family...then again they may be on the run as well* she padded up to the mouth of the cave to observe the state of the area. The concept of artificially created bit beast are new and unatural- so it was normal for the real bit beast to panic and shun them. Fortunately they had enough pity for them to create this land, now the "unnatural ones" wouldn't have to be condemned to living in that nightmarish void island, still the void was within viewing range making the place too close for comfort.
Shadows ears twitched as she heard steady footsteps approach her. Shadow turned to see Wolborg- someone who has tried to get her to open up. Shadow rolled her eyes in annoyance and just laid down on her stomach, looming over the island. She tuned him out as she was busy replaying bitter memories. Well I'm off to train now" the silver wolf chirped, "You know how Tala gets, always trying to get stronger" he was headed away before Shadow stopped to talk to him for the first time "You'll never get stronger the way you're going at it" she felt in bristle indignantly. "Yeah well I never see you leave this cliff, you think you're better?"Shadow closed her eyes and smirked
"No, but I was just about to suggest things. You're already an ice type, yet you go there to train everyday. It's so pointless, the icelands are already cold, there's no challenge" She turned to see the wolf holding a shocked look "What?" she snapped.
"It's just that I've never heard your voice before... and I thought you were a guy" he stuttered.
"awww wittle wolfy bwushing?" she taunted "anyways, I suggest you try going to the firelands. The heat there would help you take your powers up another step, training with the opposite element can help with your endurance" Shadow advised wisely "so you won't be completely helpless when you face someone like your rival Lord Suzaku" With that Shadow got up and padded back into her den. For a few hours the little nekomata looked up at the icicles the she put up on the cave roof. *how long I wish to feel the sun on my body again. Glaux I know you helped father escape, I hope you're happy. Bayyako kun, you're a lousy friend. How could you make me an outlaw? Now I'm stuck spending the rest of my life staring at this ceiling.*

'ugh I'm getting bored, I wonder what they young miss is getting into' Closing her eyes in concentration, Shadow opened the door in the back of her mind that led to the mental link every bit beast had with their master/mistress. Shadow was immediately met with a wave of despair. "Is something the matter kitten?" she asked her Mistress Raine. The ice panther flinched as she was bombarded with sobs and wails. "I-I- di-di-n't get the tickets! I worked for a full week to buy the tickets and now I can't get one" Shadow knew what her mistress was talking about, after the BEGA challenges, various teams have come to japan to to a variety of funraiter matches. Raine had worked to buy some tickets to see the Blitzkrieg Boy's match. "This is another crazy scheme to meet Tala again isn't it? Well even if you did get a ticket he's too busy with everything else to say hi to you, he probably won't like fan girls anyways." Suou said trying to comfprt her mistress. 'but I bet I know a way to let Tala meet her just once' Shadow thought. 'maybe Wolborg will lend me just this one favour Suou closed the link with her mistress and got out of her den. She was prepared to go to the fire realm where she knew the wolf would be training. She looked back into her den thinking. What if she was caught? Suou knew that if ANY bit beast were to actually recognize her, then she would be brought to lord Bayyako to be executed.

Shadow teleported to the mystical fire realm. "If I wasn't an outlaw, it would be nice to live here." Being a really old bit beast, she had traveled everywhere including the fire realm. She built up an endurance for all the elements while running from the law- still nothing beats being in a home where everyone would welcome you. "I better be quick about this" she muttered to herself. She padded along slowly, not bothering to hide in dark corners. Fire also brought along light, and she knew futile attempts at hiding would cause her to look suspicious. She tried to concentrate, and slight decrease of temperature, or sight of steam meant the ice wolf was nearby.
