This is the Mage's Library. It is large and extansive. A great place to study and brush up on almost any subject. But remember, stay quiet!

Vera poked his head into teh library, and his ears swirved around as he inspected the area. There were people sitting around reading, but that was it. "Its a strange place. I dont understand book very much. i remember.. vaguely.. that we never had books when i was a pup. Everything.. was told verbally."

"We're more different than I had thought," she said with a smile. That may have been the first time he'd seen her truly smile. "I come here all the time... it sort of fills the void that is my time..." She started to walk over to a large desk that had 'TURN IN' writen above it. "Right here, please."

Vera followed her, tails swishing happily, if not faintly fatigued behind him. She had a pretty smile, and he kind of wondered why she didnt do that smile thing more often. At the desk, he unloaded his hoard of books and sighed with the weight gone "Sorry... i tried coming here once; it overwhelmed me a little... and i had to leave..."

"Overwhelmed you, how so?" she asked as she placed one book after another delicately into the turn in drop box.

Vera shrugged "My head started hurting, like something was trying to drill into my head. that was a little while ago tho. It looks like im fine now" he took another look around the library, quietly contemplating it. flashes of a history telling, thats what he'd remembered the last time he'd been in here.

"I'm sorry," she said compationately. "But as long as you're better now, you can try and enjoy this place. I spend alot of time in here." She finished placing her books away and then looked back up at him. "I have to get some new books, Verasute."

"Oh, yes. Lead the way? i'll help you carry them. I have a strange notion that you'll get to many again." He smiled playfully at her and motioned with a hand for her to lead them into the librarys abyss of books.

She seemed to know exactly where she was going. When she reached the back of the library, she started to pull books down near a large gap of shelves. She didn't even look at the title as she pulled one after another from the topmost unit. She began to pile them up in his arms.

Vera blinked a few times at the book hauling and then frowned. "Do you even know what your pulling off the shelf?" he didnt think she did...

"No," she said. "I'm almost done reading them all." She took twenty or so book, carrying ten herself, she walked back to the desk. This time she stood under the CHECK OUT sign.

Vera winced at the weight of the books, and followed Roel to the check out station "You're reading the entire library? why?"

She shrugged, "I really don't have anything better to do. My teachers refuse to allow me to surpass the class in studies... so I can't focus my attention there... so I've been using all of my free time reading. I think I might tackle the books in the Healer's Collegium next, I suppose." She finished checking out all of the books, calling the librarian by name, since she had been here so many times. "Do you mind helping me get them all to the dorms again?" She knew it was a fairly big favor... but if he denied at least she could get the books all there in a few trips or so.
