A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAMAn expirmentation of roleplaying, I present to you a truly and absolutely unique experience. Gone is the setting, gone are the characters, gone are the rules. There are no set characters to play as, and there is no real setting for the RP to take place in. Upon whim reality changes.

AGALIAREPTI am the reliever of truths, the discoverer of secrets. I know all that was, all that is, and all that ever shall be. I sow discord among man, and cause their petty strife. My power is without limit, and I answer to Lucifer alone.
Welcome to my domain.Perhaps you were an Angel, a Cacodeamon, fighting with your might to destory the other. Perhaps you were a religious fervent, an occulist, practicing your misguided beliefs. Most likely though, you were merely insane. Regardless of who or what you are, what you were, you are now caught admist the realm of Agaliarept, the Fallen Angel. His whim is your entirety, your existence. Your existance however, has no substance. Your very being is now part of his world, his twisted thought, his fragmented existentialism. You are now the absurd.

As stated, you will have no real character profiles, no real previous identities. This is simply because it doesn't really matter. The world is essentailly within Agaliarept's mind, and whatever he whims to be true shall be. The RP will consist of various "chapters" which will all have various, often completely different, settings. As soon as the chapter changes, your character changes to fit into the new setting. You may be having a sword fight atop of a castle in the dark ages, only to find that the world has shifted into a cyberpunk neon city, where your swords have turned into laser rifles. Later while at a rave, reality shifts once more, and you're a bunch of upper crust gentlemen sitting in a manor durring the nineteenth century. Who knows where you'll end up next, Hell? And you don't nessecarily even have to continue with that character, you may make up a completely new one. You may wish to simply sit out for a chapter, because you don't like the setting. You may wish to make a half dozen because you like it so much! These are all fine options. The big thing here is that you you have fun. This should really stretch your imagination, and I hope that everyone sticks around for every chapter, and hopefully transition the same characters. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

CHAPTER I
THE MASQUERADEUpon thy year of thine Lord 1630, a meery manor in the warm bosom of London lie garnish'd and ready to partake upon merriments and most joyous of festivities. A most generous of lords hast made call upon many a guest, coming from near and yonder. He has made unto himself a lively Masquerade Ball. His lords manor is fair and vast, garnished with a number of flower, and a thousand candles to make lit its halls. Outside thoust may partake upon his quaint courtyard, a garden fit for royalty. Flower of one nature and rose of another all adorn his lovely yard. Thoust hast been invit'd unto this most noble of Masquerades, but of thoust one requirement must be made. Thou must adorn upon thine face a masque, to hide away from the world ones face, instead a facade taking its place, whether it be a grimace or smirk. Welcome.

Victoria was a dashing young lady, and despite the protest of her parents, she was quite promiscuous. If they only knew. She had been inivited to a Masquerade Ball at one of the largest manors in all of England, and she'd not be one to miss out of what is likely to be one of the biggest events of the year. Oh, the wine she would drink, the men should would meet. Oh, and the women as well, one musn't be too prude.
She tried to calm her dress, but it seemed untamable, at least while sitting in her carriage. She let out a violent sigh, venting her frustration, and looked off to the side, rolling her eyes. Soon the carriage came to a stop though, and she was there. Rolling her head back into a forward position, a grin creeped across her face. The door opened, and waited for her. However, Victoria would not be rushed, and took this time now to put on her mask. It was a full faced mask, fully white with a blank expression upon it's facade. Black beads hung down from the chin, covering her neck, cracking against each other every time she moved her head. Lastly, a leather strap held it on, covered by a black wig attached to the mask, covering her short hair, which her parents most certainly did not approve of.
She lurched forward and turned to look out of the carriage. She'd never been to this manor before, and it was magnificent. A large garden, a beautiful garden, filled with statues and fountains in the foreground only made the giant manor even more lovely. She smiled behind her mask and stepped out of the carriage, not moving, not carring for anyone else around her. She looked from side to side, her blank visage entrancing those who would gaze upon it. Having spent enough time announcing her presence by merely standing there, she started to walk ever so slowly forward.

Lady Alexanthia Medan, instead of riding in a carriage, decided to come on horseback. She wasn't really like most ladies in that she saw things... differently. People would say she's excessively greedy, but spends big. Her own parents had died a while back, someone had them killed. Stabbed to death in their sleep. She recovered from their death unusually quickly though, and as expected, inherited everything of theirs.
... Perhaps if people knew she'd killed them herself they'd know why she recovered so quickly, and they'd think less of her....
Thinking about how she'd gotten away with it brought a smirk to her face. She was definitely not like most other ladies. She'd found that killing gave her a big thrill. Most of her life, people had usually thought of her as harmless because she was so small. Twenty years old and she was 5'4" tall! Taking the life of her parents just made her feel so powerful! Nearing the manor, she let her smirk grow beneath her mask...
Her mask had no face on it at all. The only thing it had on it were the eye holes, the designs of which curved up at the outside edges of them, and the paint up the front of the faceless, plain mask. A dagger , the handle around the mouth with the handleguard just under where her nose would be, the blade stretching up between the eyes of her mask. The mask itself was white, but the knife was black, and at the tip of the knife, it looked as if there were blood trailing down the blade, three drops ending just above eye level along the knife and the side of it, red trailing up from them to the daggers edge...
She dressed quite well enough. Her dress was black. Almost everything she wore anymore was black. Long black gloves reached up past her elbows, and fancy black shoes adorned her feet. The skirt of her dress at her sides drooped down from the waist to her upper thighs, meeting up just before coming to the front of the dress, exposing skin on either side of her hips. The top of her dress hugged her belly and chest nicely, the top of said dress, a V forming at the center of the chest, again exposing plenty of skin but hiding enough. What wasn't easily seen was two straps on her thighs underneath the skirt of her dress that each held a sheathed dagger.
She wasn't just coming here to the party to meet people...

A white horse trotted flippantly down the path leading from the manor, paying little heed to the guests dodging out of the way. Its main and tail had been dyed stripes of yellow and purple, a large green plume attached to its head. The rider was equally extravegant in his dress, most Harlequinesque. One leg and one arm adorned red and green checkers, the others purple and yellow stripes. A mask covered all his face but his mouth, numerous colours emblazed across it. It could be characterized by a long pointed nose, and numerous spikes coming off of it, bells attached to the ends. Nearly halfway up, he yanked on the reigns, the horse shaking its head as it came to a rather quick stop, starting to circle around. The rider pulled out a long thin horn and blew into it, sweeping it across one side to the other, letting out a soft and harmonic whistle. He shouted out to everyone in a maddened fashion, "Hear ye all, thine most gracious host is beget his ball! Comst thee all, follow me unto his presence, follow hither, follow wither. Comst yee here!" He let out a short cackle before turning fully around and trotting back to whilst he came.

A Harlequin upon a horse rode up, harking out a harrowing and haughty laugh following his hopeful message. She grinned under her expressionless facade, for the festivities were soon to begin. She brought her hand up to cover the mouth on her mask, looking slowly from side to side as if to express some sort of shock. This was a cheap means to two ends. It not only was a way to attract attention, but a way to see who bought into this ploy. However, those who looked, and really everyone around her were of no interest. She wanted those who were out there, ridiculous and extravegent. Those who seemed bored with life. Those like her.
Victoria started to slowly move forward, elegantly and seductively. She placed one foot directly in front of the other, swinging her hips with every step. And every time her hips moved in one direction, her head moved in the other. As she encountered others along the path, she paid them no heed, she merely waved them away or quite literally shoved them from her path. It was no manner for a lady to be acting, but she didn't really care, she merely wanted to get inside. After a few minutes of just walking, she had made it to the doors. She grinned under her mask, not yet entering. She wanted to wait a moment, the suspense building up inside her, to make her entering all that much more important.
[I suppose everyone else is too masculine to attend a dance, aye? whee ]

((I just popped in here , I hadn't posted because I didn't want to rp a play, but this seems much better. Let's keep it going!))
Miles Whittaker stepped down from his carriage, his long hair tied back with a thin blue ribbon. He looked down to inspect himself one last time, he wore a lavish regal blue frock coat trimmed with gold. He straightened his lack gloves. Some would look at him strangely because black clashed oddly with the rest of his attire, but let them look. Miles abhorred white gloves. More than a few minutes doing anything and they became positively filthy. Black gloves were far better than white at concealing the actions of the hands that wore them. Everything ready he produced the piece-de-resistance, his mask. Now anybody looking from a bit of a distance would have presumed it was a mask of a regular man's face, but upon closer inspection they would notice the slightly smiling mask bore sharp fangs in the each corner of the mouth. Pulling the tie behind his head, Miles lifted his chin up and strode calmly towards the front door. He always made a point of ignoring everyone around him until he was inside the party, if they wanted to meet him let them come to him. Though his face would not give him away just yet, his manner might to a few people.
Miles was the son of a wealthy aristocrat, growing up used to getting everything he desired, he continued this pattern into adulthood. He did just about anything he wanted, went anywhere he wanted, and what his money wouldn't get him, he would charm his way to getting. His looks, his voice, and his smile had gotten him many places, parties, clubs, women's beds. He'd done so much by the time of his twenty-third birthday, he had actually begun to avidly search for things to keep his attention, though not much could for more than a few hours. Once he reached to the top of the steps he waved his carriage away. The driver knew when to return. He gazed quickly across the scene heading of the front courtyard. Two attractive women and one strange, colorful figure were also heading towards the door. He smoothed his coat and turned on his heel. "Well now, the party may begin." Miles said to himself as he turned the handle and opened the door.

Alexanthia smirked at the sound of the call. I wonder how many opportunities will present themselves...? Oh i'm quite sure we'll get plenty, but we'll have to be extra careful! We don't want to attract any attention while sending someone to their death... But we could also just make some friends, couldn't we? It is such a lovely party, everyone seems to be having fun already. The right corner of her lips twitched beneath the mask. Shut up! Who cares about them!? I certainly don't! Besides, they're probably here looking to take advantage of someone... Like that one there. Look at him, one of the first to the doors. I want to stab him first... But he's dressed so nicely, and he's not bothering anyone- He's bothering ME! Her face turned to a glare beneath the mask. Shut up, damn you! The voices silenced. That was better. Her expression relaxed and she grew a smile again. She'd have to get someone to keep them quiet, but she didn't mind that at all...
She approached the door, smiling beneath her mask, looking to Miles for a moment. The smile was out of habit. She knew he couldn't see it. She didn't say anything just yet, because she was sure someone had something to say at the beginning of the party... Some sort of announcement or other. She didn't mind. It just gave her time to take in the place and take mental notes of where might be an ideal spot to kill someone...
