Bewfore a guard competition the guard always does little sally walker, this is how it goes
guard gets in a circle, one person gets in the middle, person in middle starts walking/danceing while we chant
Little Sally Walker walkin down the street, didnt want to do so she cam right up to me and said person in middle walks up to someone and starts doing movements, other person trying to mirror them
hey girl do your thing, do your thing, do your thing now switch
hey girl do your thing, do your thing now switch guard members doing mirror switch, start chant over
Thats all we do, there is one other but I didnt learn it yet. sweatdrop

This is a poem my friend wrote after our last competition of the season & it made everyone in guard cry.
"Together in the cold, wind and rain
fighting through the tears and the pain
Big sisters that give you lots of pretty things
After performances, when everyone sings
Wet flags that stuck together
But we still fought, even in the worst weather
the uncountable "life lessons" we learned
remembering every scar that we earned
hours of cleaning work until there's none left to do
trying to max out every run through
a weapon line that was never tame
despite ferocious looks from our captain with the mane
led by three great people; michelle, adam and ben
who taught us that it's not most important to win
it's all about the memories we share
and knowing when you go to practice that someone will care
twenty-seven strangers, that all became friends
we'll be family until the very end
no matter the outcome of our show
i just think everyone should know
that even after the season is through
i'll love each and every one of you."

We just basically chant with the entire band. xD

and repeat.
'Who are we?'
"We're Pemberton!"

"P-to the-E-to the-M-to the-B-to the-E-to the-R-to the- TON!"

"WE'RE PEMBERTON!"
lol. I hate that chant.
Then we have P-TOW, but that's sort of an inside joke in the band. LOL. When I was an 8th grader.
We sing 'Shuckey Duckie" if anyone knows that cheerleader chant? It's kinda annoying. We need to think of more. LOL.
