In the UofU museum of art, there is a samuri sword and armor on display. They said that when they recieved the armor, the blood from when the samuri died was still in it. And in one of the pockets was a love note written to the samuri from his lover. They also said that the note looked like he read it while he was dying, but I am not sure if I made that part up, or if it was what they said.

And also probably fake. I mean, think about it; How old would samurai be? And how long does paper last before it corrodes?

Who knows? And if it's fake, who cares? It's still a touching story.

Personally, it's not so much 'touching' when it's got so many 'ifs' and 'maybes.'

umm.... I kinda know the difference, So I'll give my definition. Feel free to correct me when I'm wrong. Ninjas are like assasins, basically. They're silent killers. Samurai are more like knights. They wear armor usually, and they believe in a tight code of honor. I think I read something about ninjas not being so strict, and not being considered as honorable.

Darkest basically has it right. Samurai were the cavalry, used for brute force, and they were similar to the modern ideal of the ancient knights. Ninjas were basically a 'you tell us, and we do it' kind of people, and they held no honor whatsoever outside of their own group.
