Hmmmm... I'll give you... a 9.
Simply put, your avatar blends quite nicely, but between all the black and blue you have, the white really has no place. It sticks out like a sore thumb.

You are now looking at a harsh critic.
In the arenas I would give you a 2 or a 3 for your current avie as well as your dream avie. (Or goal avie. Whatever seems to fit you.)
Reasons are that the shadow spirit as well as the summoning tome is not complimenting your avie but more like degrading it. You are wearing a set or a partial set. Your dream avie is too crowded. Nothing truly matches aside from the set. The katanas that are in your hands in your dream avie seem a bit overused. No creativity. So yeah, I think that's basically it.

It's an 8 The red and black go together, very nicely if I might add, but there is not a real flair to it.

Hmm.. well I like the colours and all, but for me it just doesn't seem to fit well together. It's like placing a bright blue marble with a very dull one that's off and trying to get them to sort of calm each others colours down. I don't know if that explanation really makes much sense to you, but it does to me >.< But it is nice in general.
