I just wanted to know if anyone played Katamari. If not, let me tell you about it. Please, give your opinions and feel free to ask questions. Here's a good idea for a question: "What's Katamari?" So feel welcome and join in with the fun.

Katamari is a great game! I played it when I was over a friend's house. Are there any new releases of the game?

As far as I know, there's Katamari Damacy and We heart Katamari for the PS2 and Me And My Katamari for the PSP. There might be another being worked on but I'm not sure.

My friend told me that there is one for the PS3 entitled "Beautiful Katamari". If I get a PS3, I will definitely have to play it.

Same here, that game is addicting. And it's weird cause the game is so pointless but it's so hard to stop playing.

I read a review about Beautiful Katamari in Game Informer and they said, "The game was lacking in its usual humor and comedic nature. The single-player mode was much of the same thing over and over without much variation as in the previous games. Although, the multi-player mode for Beautiful Katamari was exceptional and better than the previous multi-player experiences. The soundtrack is still as interesting and there are many songs one would go crazy to have on his or her iPod. Bottom line, this game leaned to be more of a multi-player game than anything else." Those aren't the exact words, but it's about what they said.

So...Basically, it's the same thing with hella good music and a better multi-player? Sounds alright to me!

I play it every so often, but I always fail to pick up the required items in "Me and my Katamari".
