Faction: The Culture
In truth, not much is known about the Culture´s motives. From observations, they seem to be a very advanced civilization in terms of technology. Envoys have been accepted, though they haven´t been allowed to see certain parts of the Culture.
There are some concrete facts about the Culture. One is that they have abolished the system of money. Even citizen is allowed to do as they wish and possessions have the lines greatly blurred between whos is whos.
It seems that the mechas that have been raiding MMA outposts are not quite of the Culture itself, they seem to be a thrill seeking crowd or some type of governmental group that is trying to collect more information over the MMA.

Race: Genofixed Culture
From bodies obtained from destroyed mecha, we have been able to figure out more about the Culture´s people.
Physically, their body structure is very close to a normal human´s. There are some very large differences, however, in their genes. For what can be figured out, their bodies have been "fixed" so to say. Their immune system is perfect, sickness is unknown amoung them. They also have drug producing glands in their brain, able to create thousands of different drugs at will. The drugs vary from mind enhancing to relaxing drugs to pain relief drugs.
Nearly everything that could be done has been done to them. If they are placed on a high gravity planet, their body will increase muscle size and even the thickness of their bone structure in order to compensate.
Outside of this information, not much else is known about the people who live in the Culture.
