Child twirled a piece of her long dark hair between her fingers as she read the final page of The Odyssey. "Well," Sighed Child "that was good." The book had took her an all out time of 6 years. To Child that was like 6 seconds of her life, unaccounted for and not cared for either. Child felt like ending this book might bring along something… anything really, she was so terribly bored. The last decade seemed to pass so slowly. A knock erupted into Child chamber shacking her from her lazy thinking.
"Ieee.. What???" Child wasn’t really annoyed she just like playing games, it was the only thing that held any interest to her now.
"An old friend has come to visit, and you complain about that?" said a quiet, but commanding voice.
"Lukia!" Laughed Child springing from the lounge chair. "How are you!!"
Lukia was tall, bulky, scarred, and aged, but he seemed young to Child. "I am an aging Lycan Child, how do you think I am?" he joked.
"As wonderful as ever!!" Child wrapped her arms as far around Lukia’s waste as she could.
"Child, listen to me." Lukia’s voice became serious, strangely serious.
Child looked up at his old, wise face and immediately knew that something was coming, a horrible terrible something.

Child back became stiff. "Whoes there!?" she said into the darkness. Letting go of Lukia she steeped twords the shadow outside of her study.

"Are you lost?" Child demanded. She didn't like people sneeking around and being scretive. Tht's was one thing that repulsed her about Vampire's, her own kin. They where so quiet and stealthy. Whay can;t we just speak our minds! Child thought over and over again. I rather fight like humans blind to the truth than fight like a vampire. Child saw the inturder eyes glace to Lukia, a plan intensaneously formed into her mind.
"Lukia," she called over her sholder, "Would you pray come here?"

"No......I just...heard something and hid...." Her eyes went from them to the ground. She was just shy. Her heart dropped when she heard the girl call the guy over. 'Proboley together...'

"Miss, I would like you to meet Lukia, the head of the Lycans, and if you don't know already I'm Child your head vampire." Child said with much athority.
"Child don't be harsh!" laughed Lukia. "Please to meet you and I'm sorry I must go!" Lukia brushed past the other vampire and called back "I'll see you later Child!"
Child waited until Lukia was saftly out of ear shot before laughing. "The-*breath*-look-*breath*-on your-*breath*- face!!" she began crying, her stomach hurt so bad, but she couldn't help yourself. Child finally got her laughted under control. "I'm sorry I couldn't help myself!" Said Child like it was an inside joke. "Lukia, is nice, but unfortunetly he has kin already event though his wife is dead, he will not mate again. Just as a heads up!" she said with a wink.

Kira's face went from elegently pale to beet red. "I-i wasn't thinking that!" She looked away. "He is cute....but he could never like me..." She looked back up,her shy red eyes catching the moonlight. "Would he?"

"I don't know you should try!" Child said with a wink. "he might go for you!" Child laughed haertily as the Vampires face got even redder. "I introduced my slef so who are you?" she as polietly sitting down then motions to another across from hers.

Child thought seriously for a moment than spoke "Truthfully i don't know if Lukia is looking for a "date", but he has a son you might like. they'll both be over for dinner tonight. You may attend but after dessert i must ask you to leave, there are somethings we need to talk about, the lycan alpha, and the vampire queen just us two, ok?" Child felt like a matchmaker as she sipped at a wine.
